Much easier to drill the ribbits out and remove the carpet in the back there's a panel under it held down with 4 nuts and sealer silicone remove them and theres your fuel pump and filter staring at you
Big D thank you for your video! I've been searching all day for a good video! These people don't know anything about this job! 2007 Jeep is a very different and difficult car. But most dudes posting about this are daf! Lol thanks again
@@Pii-RuCryptoCuhThroat Buy or search for a PDF copy of the 2002 to 2006 Jeep Liberty Service Manual. It shows you everything! Plus it provides step by step instructions on fixing everything. Good luck!
There are better videos out there that show you how to do this without dropping the fuel tank. You can just lift the carpet in the back of your jeep and there is a door/access panel you can open to do this job much easier from the top.

I keep reading that 2004 and above didn't have an external filter...conflicting info online for sure. I got a 2009 and can't find the answer

VERY USEFUL, THANKS
Mala toma de video,😎
Dude an FYI..you didnt have to drop the tank to change out fuel filter. There is an access panel under the cartpet.
Access panel on the top you can get it from inside the car
Is it the same on a 2004 jeep liberty, with 3.7?
Yes
What year and model was this Jeep liberty?
2003 Jeep Renegade 4 wheel drive
Why did you change it? What was going on with it?!??? Need these vital info 🙏
Stalling and rough idle.
Can be due to stunnering in the engine.
