Bought it and don't regret it at all. Giant leap over my 1992 HD580. Have tested/listened periodically HD600/650 and believe should named this model 'HD670' - at least, if not 'HD680'.
It maybe looks like a modified 660S but sound is so fresh and bass is a 'world premiere' in HD6XX Series. They are comfortable, open with fatigue-free and deep sound, but the have narrow soundstage and need juice as they aren't so easy to drive as advertised. In a word: you get 85~90% of head-fi Nirvana which costs > EUR 2000.

Is the plastic hoop as resistant as aluminum over time?
I just got these, loving them but I need a better Dac amp. I currently have the Sennheiser EPOS GSX 1000 and was wondering how the HD 660S2 are when paired with the FiiO R7? Is the FiiO R7 good when paired with these?

Just bought them and my collection is full now all HD6 and HD 5 line, I have a Question why Sennheiser didnt paint the metal silver vents from silver to Bronze so look nice ??? My HD660s everything is Silver.

Reduced resonant frequency, which gives it better detail in that region from my experience
a simpler package but higher price version of the HD660s
I like the elevated upper mid and the speed in the HD660s. I had the HD6xx before and found it too slow for modern music.

Hello, my wife and I were looking forward to this and bought one 660s2 headset but it was dead on arrival. The cable that plugs into the right ear is faulty and I get sound out of it maybe 10% of the time even when properly plugged in. I have tried contacting support but have heard nothing yet. Can I please get help to remedy this situation? Really just need a new cable but I would not have expected this especially for a brand new in box product...

HD600 need way more power than my 660S2, i have to say HD660s2 are closer to Volume with 660s1

Everything is ok, but the carrying case you put next to it is incredibly cheap and bad.

Nobody should by sennheisers earbuds, they have poor quality, the right will go off after 2months. It's every where mine went of after 1month and a week. It's disgusting

J'ai toujours le Momentum.1 et il fonctionne toujours bon à des années lumières du modèle présenté mais bon ça me suffit amplement... Sennheiser IS good
