Brooke, you look just fine wearing your sunglasses. 99% of us get that you are experiencing glare from sun. Even on cloudy days, the glare can still be problematic. You are very kind and respectful with your responses.
Agree. I am another blue eyed person who absolutely has to wear sunglasses outdoors all year! Very sensitive eyes and shades or large hats help slow down age changes in the eye lenses, so it isn't just cosmetic, it is a health need to wear shades outdoors.
People always have something to say. No sunglasses on a sunny day...really??
I have yet to understand , why people let the unimportant things bother them. I have lite blue eyes a d the sun bothers me.
That also takes care of eye damage too.
Cataracts grow faster if you don't wear sunglasses. I have worn them since my teens growing up in the south and lots of sunny

Ever since you moved Topper to the new pasture he seems more relaxed and sociable with the other goats. I always felt sorry for him because he looked lost with the others. He now seems to be enjoying life as the handsomest goat in the country surrounded by lovely ladies.

Never underestimate a male. Arms Family Homestead had a male Alpaca that the vet said was sterile and they ended up with two babies that Rufus fathered. DeeDee sure has been blessed with a loving home.

Isn't it amazing how you didn't know you needed DD until you did. She showed up and YOU saved her and then, she became YOUR Holly, YOUR shadow, your ride or die!! I'm so glad you have a companion with you at all times. As for Topper, I think his sterilization was of the mind, but putting him with all those girls, reminded him he was a stud. It will probably take a few tries, or he could have had a lot stored up and gave it all he had,lol which means babies. I hope it's many. I would laugh if he got everyone pregnant.

My last female cat was incredibly expressive. If she felt forced upstairs, she would stamp her feet all the way up and her glare was so truly terrifying she would have reduced Medusa to gravel. 😊 Just depends on the animal, they are all individuals.
My experience had been the opposite 😂, my males were extremely affectionate and never strayed far, every female I've had has wandered off 🥴

OMG Girl kitties certainly DO have a personal personality. I have had a lot of female cats in my life and many of them where my snuggle babies. Right now I have one that sleeps next to me all night and LOVES attention from me all day long. She even loves to head bonk!! lol It all depends on the cat.
I have numerous female cat rescues and they are super affectionate just like the boys! No shortage of love from either! ❤

I've learned down through the years, after a few dozen cats, each cat definitely has their own personality. Some are very independent, some do not want to share attention of their owner. Some do not like (one was a tom) being loved on unless they initiated it. 🤷♀️Love 'em, love 'em. 🙂🙂

Topper tricked everyone. As my late Daddy often said 'he is such a rascal!'. The babies on the '40' are crazy smart. I love how precocious they can be. There's definitely never a dull moment.

Hi Brooke so pleased you’ve got Roberto helping you finish the aviary. Make it so much easier for the Victorian crown pigeons to be able to go inside if needed. Easier than the plastic sheeting. The new silky chicks are so so cute. Seeing Dede having so much fun riding around with you. She is having such a fun life and so happy she found her way to yours. The great thing about kitty cats growing up so fast, is that they retain their kittenish ways all their lives lol. But tempered with maturity.❤❤❤

Don’t get me wrong, they truly are sweet, loving family members. I prefer the constant companionship of a doggo. I think that “kitty people “ relate to that independent and the more solitary life of a cat. What I appreciate even more, is that all of these differences make life so much more interesting. I love all of these babies at Cog Hill and how unique each one is. Wow! When did I get so long winded? Lol. Y’all stay safe and have a very blessed day!

From someone with eye problems, protect your eyes. Everyone should be wearing sunglasses when they're outside. Just for starters, not wearing them will cause your eyes to develop cataracts at a faster rate than you normally would. I really enjoy all the Cog Hill channels. I look forward to them every day.

I was so happy Topper was moved in with the girls. He seems happier and more relaxed. Maybe if you had to move Moe, he could go in with Nugget and Goldie. They didn't appear to mind Bootsie being with them.
The reason the goats are not in same pasture as the emus is that they have different food requirements and might eat the emu food up.
@@WarmFuzzyVibes right. But i think the emu feeders can be out of the reach of Mo. I think. But i know Mo is not full grown yet. Just a thought. But i have no doubt they will figure it all out
Maybe by the time did they get the other side finished for the boy goats everything will be in place for Joe and Moe. I think they have room for two stalls over there so they could possibly place Joe in one and Moe in the other and then I know in the back of the barn they were talking about making a breeding stall. So I think they'll have plenty of room to separate the boys once they get all the fencing done on the other side of the barn
Brook, Female donkeys are wonderful bonus moms to a variety of other animals. Jessie is going to love the new babies in March. Getting Topper away from the more dominant males was a great thing to do, he even looks happier. Love your Cog Hill channels .❤

There is never a dull moment on The Cog Hill Farm! 😂🥰. As for the commit about sunglasses, people with light colored eyes are very sensitive to the sun. You should always wear sunglasses outdoors to protect your eyes from UV rays. My son will get headaches if he’s caught outdoors with his sunglasses, all my grand children from a young age have worn them. Your ways putting your glasses on your head when talking to the camera when your in the barn or in the shade. BROOK you keep doing you that’s why we love you and Jason so much your just real people. 😘 Baby’s on March 16th how exciting. Tell MC hope to see her around sometime.

Yes! Get them latches installed. In the meantime wrap the chain around the pole the other way and that might help with the beginning of the chain from the gate out of your way of latching it next time.
