Oh Granny Pat you do such an honor to your brother by sharing your memories of him!
@@loramuer9314 But there was so little for a seven year old to remember!
Hello Granny Pat . Yes I too live alone and find myself talking to myself . I find it helps me to concentrate on things I need to get done . My short term memory gets fuzzy at times and I forget little things here and there . I often have to make reminders to myself and put them on the Fridge door like a grocery list or appointments or I forget . My mom was the same way when she was my age . I’m 60 and I’m forgetting things now . My doctor says it’s not unusual and it’s not dementia which I was worried about. But I understand about the forgetfulness and the talking to oneself . Thank you Granny Pat . I do enjoy your sharing your thoughts,Stories ,Recipes and your lovely treasures such as your beautiful China Pattern s. Take Care and stay Safe . Laura in Canada 💐🌸🌺🌷🌼☀️🇨🇦🇨🇦😊😊
Granny Pat, Thank you for sharing your stories with us.
I enjoy your soothing voice anytime. It is a gift. ❤
Hi Granny Pat. This was a very heart warming video. You shared so expertly the facts about your dear brother and his military experience. How proud you are of this remarable young man that you grew up with. He was very brave and he lost his life for all of us. I look forward to reading about Howard. Thank you for sharing as I know it remains bittersweet. You looked pretty today in your pastel top and matching earrings. I find myself talking when no one is around. It is not something I plan but it gets my thoughts going in right direction. Alone time that is in abundance is not for the weak. Instead it takes us to a level that not everyone ever gets to experience. I am grateful for my deeper understanding of things and it made me appreciate those that cannot relate. I appreciate this gift from God and I am better equipped to notice gifts that others have been given. Have a good day today. Thank you for being you, Granny Pat. Hugs. Nancy from IN 😊❤
@@user-oc5ir2lw8n you are such a thoughtful person. I enjoy everything you say!

Oh Granny Pat I love that picture of your brother, Bug, when he was 12. He was so such a handsome young man. It’s such a lovely memorial scrapbook you put together. I believe your parents are an attractive couple on their Fiftieth Anniversary. All interesting facts about your family. God Bless them all especially Bug.carson in Ohio💕🙏

Pat, I read about your brother, Bug, online, in the Redhounds for Remembrance. I remembered bits and pieces that you have shared before, but it is such a moving story. It is important for us to keep history alive, in hopes that we may learn from it.
@@pambohnhoff2163 Thank you. I hope others will take time to read most of my story.
My Mom did a lot of genealogy
And even put some on tape
A blessing but I have not gotten into everything yet.
God bless toy for keeping
Your families history alive.
Hello Granny Pat! I get mixed up sometimes too!
On my mother's side of the family we have Native American blood. Being part indian back in the 70s was frowned upon if you wanted to have class..my mother was a "keepin up with the jones's" lady and her social standing was important to her. We did go to the a family reunion every year to the midlands of SC (from Charleston) and it was a huge reunion every year with plenty for the children to do...swimming, ping pong, swings and such. I was always intrigued by these little old ladies, some in wheelchairs, that would light up when i was introduced to them,,,sometimes looking deep into my eyes and even kissing my hand. I would think, why are these women in tears with joy to see me? what makes me so special? but Lord knows what i would do to be able to go back and talk with those women now...i'd sit for hours and hours with them if i could. Funny as you get older you become way more interested in where you came from while at the same time the information gets harder to come by. My native bloodline comes from the mountains of NC, but the stories from these relatives would be pure gold to me. God Bless President Trump, im so glad he is ok.
@@FilbinCreekPhil Records seem to show that the native American in my family goes back to SEQUOIA. The person who created the Indian ALPHABET. You can read about him on the internet. I’m not sure about the connections. My dad’s family migrated from NC.
THIS IS A CRITICAL TIME FOR America!
@@chitchatwithgrannypat7900 i would follow that man into battle, im so proud of him. Ive worried about him in this regard for years, so this was pretty emotional for me. & sounds like it was for you too.Thank God he is ok, stand strong ! ;-)

Good morning Granny Pat. I have a friend that lives close to the Corinth cemetery . Since we both like walking . We walked over to the cemetery and was walking. I just so happen to glance over and saw the Name Estep and walked over to see who it was. It was your family . I told my friend about you and I had heard you speak so many times about your family and brother. Have a wonderful Sunday. I am looking forward to you and Billy Genes live this evening.
@@londonkyguy Thank you so much for visiting the cemetery. I didn’t get there this year but my sister sees that flowers are placed on the graves.
@@chitchatwithgrannypat7900 There was some beautiful flowers on the grave.
Granny Pat it is so sad to hear you talk about your brother. I bet your mom was so proud of him, but it’s sad what she had to go through.
