For anyone that has never experienced bass like this......its doesnt sound the same over the camera. It sounds a lot better in person. Its not my taste personally but I can understand why people like it. A lot of these guys have really good sounding systems when you turn off some of the subs anyways.

The reason that the bass, when heavily turned up, sounds like a wet fart is because it is overdriving the microphone in the camera. Literally, the camera cannot handle the power of the bass. IRL, the bass does not sound like a fat man shitting out his brown son.

As have I; many attempts at recording short clips of live music on my iPhone have failed because of this, though my 5s does a surprisingly good job of not letting the microphone be overdriven.
I was able to successfully record clips of a Kalliope concert; Kalliope is a semi trailer with enough coverage and throw for 4500 people, with 20,000 watts of subwoofer power. Google them for their facebook page. They can be usually found at Bonnaroo and Burning Man. Highly recommended.

Dub Monster I built my system for around $1k and I have a DD9512i in an OBCON box with a CAB 1600.1. Also put some MOJO Mat in and have a Tspec V8 wire kit. Kept my stock nav radio though and did a line output converter so saved a hundred or two there.
