Texas Flag Cutting Board Build | How-to

In this video i'll show you how I build this Texas Flag Cutting Board. The board is made of Walnut, Maple and Padauk and features a solid maple insert.

Im learning. Love this board. Ive been told you cant glue up end grain to edge grain because wood movement would cause it to split apart. Have you seen this or does inserting the dowels prevent this from happening?
I would appreciate help from anyone reading this. I would like to attempt this project if it works. Thanks

You’re right, never a good idea glueing end grain to end grain. But since he added those dowels it’ll have no problem not splitting!
