The lady has a strong African American accent, but the man has some of it as well, though I think he is a recent immigrant to the U.S. His accent is more distinctly African. The Swahili spoken at the clothing shop was also on point, and the price, 2500 Kshs, was fair-not an inflated price for foreigners, aka mzungu price😂. With a little bargaining, the dress could sell for 2,000 Kshs. Your pinned post ask what we love and hate about Nairobi. What I love about Nairobi is the hustle spirit of the people. However, this hustle often comes with a downside: chaos. I wish they could find a balance. Nairobi has the potential to be the greatest city in Africa, where the energy of the hustle meets organization. 😂
