For anyone wondering, this process is almost the same for "Emission" as well. In the menu where you add "Opacity", you also have the option to add "Emission" -

after i export it, and use it in blender, the opacity doesnt work. any trick to solve this issues ?
Good video. I had mesh I just wanted to hide in IRAY renderer. I ended adding a fill layer to that mesh, then changed the opacity slider all the way to black. It stays that way into IRAY as well. Thank you!
I never have actually used any other shaders other than pbr metal roguh/(+blend, or +test). There are plenty, and some are downloadable. Can you make a video, explaining different shaders?
For example you cant really make silk in substance painter. It has to be a shader. No idea if different texture sets can use different shaders

Can someone please explain to me why my 'tear' spots show up black in my fabric after making this? I used PBR with alpha blend....

Thank you. Is there a way to export the texture with an alpha channel (so that back in blender I can plug the alpha into the alpha instead of having an extra channel for opacity)
you ever figure out a way to do this?
I actually ended up finding out that when you export the albedo texture from substance, it already has an alpha channel in the spots that I made transparent. I didn't bother to try at first because I assumed it wouldn't give me that.@@parksnowboarder
