I'm glad you can import existing normal maps as I have a bevel modifier I want to bake as a normal map before I export to Substance

Hello! Some question!
1. When isolating certain textures, you only apply with the mesh fill (where you only apply on certain parts), does the actual model from where I exported from have to be separate objects not as one? Since when you only filled on certain objects they only apply to them. I just wanna make sure.
2. The black mask is to isolate the texture for you apply to certain parts of an object?
3. Majority of Substances textures and smart masks are built in?
