Thanks for the shout out too. Here's another tip, if you put a field over the area with the berries in and keep it fallow, this stops the wood cutters coming in and cutting down the logs and destroying the berries. It's weird, because it does wipe all the foliage but the berries remain. Just make sure the field is big enough as if the sides of the field hit the berries, this will destroy a bush. To see where your berries are, hold a building over the area and you'll see the berries in red. Don't place the building as this will also destroy the berries. Happy fruit picking.
That is another great tip and I love it! Thank you so much.
I really like watching the time lapse and seeing the town being built, defo keep. 👍
I'm glad to hear you liked the new format to that. Seems like the game mechanics were happier with it to since we weren't waiting 1-in game year for everything to build while I should be managing other things.
Yes I agree apples and veg are good for areas with poor fertility.
We will need to start those plots soon I think. At least the veggies for now as we are nearing the population growth stage so we can draft an army.
Oh.
Some advice I forgot last time 🤦
Don't put too many garden veggies or orchards etc up and running too soon as it takes them out of the workpool.
Yes! I have heard that cause they’ll have to come back and harvest. Same with doing to early right cause you don’t have unlimited regional wealth so there is managing that with the level ups as well. I went to hard in season 1 with that.
Great advice!

Ah good. Town'll be ready when those bandits hit 😈
@@nealjroberts4050 Those pesky bandits won't stand a chance this time. (I hope!)
I'm excited to watch as this city grows! Note: it is my understanding (and experience) that apples, and veggies disregard the fertility of the land it is on. I run apples and veggies all the time and the yield is the same regardless of local soil fertility.
That is good to know. I think at the bare minimum the veggie plots will need to be started soon as I want to start getting a bigger population for drafting an army.
@@Na_MaPlays yes! And if you plan on using apples start them soon too. Apples take 5 years to reach full potential.
Found your series while looking up Manor Lords content. I’m loving this game so far and your soothing voice helps make the workday go by faster. My only regret is not waiting until you had enough content so I could binge watch all week lol!
As for the Orchard. Burgs ignore fertility just like they ignore livestock counters for chickens and goats. If you go that route get them and gardens up fast. They take 3 years to reach full production! Hope this helps
have you watch season one.
That is good to know! thank you for sharing and welcome to the channel. I'm glad to hear I can make the workday a little better for you.
I'm loving Manor Lords a lot. It has become one of my top favorite games along side cities skylines (which I also feature on this channel) and Final Fantasy XIV (which I can not wait until the new dlc drops in July!!)
I recommend her City Skylines videos too. You get to see her art talents in action!
You need to get your approval up to 51% or higher to get migrants. 1 family/month will move in if approval is 51-75%. 2 families if approval >76%. Check your markets and make sure you stock food, fuel and leather. It does no good to build houses if approval isn't above 50%.
Agreed. I appreciate you sharing the ratios as I didn't know the threshold for 1 family per month was 51-75%. I built the church first to help start increasing that approval rating. When the first crops come in that will also assist the food diversity in the markets. We currently have space for about 60 market stalls if I remember correctly.
It work fine , Like watching a film. It will be interesting when you go live. With the point thing that what i read about. And did you get your second ox ?.
Yes we do have the second ox. I believe I chose to just purchase him off camera so that the episodes were an appropriate length. I personally have been liking 20-30min as both a viewer and a content creator. Is there a length of video you find is best for when your watching?
@@Na_MaPlays Thank you . 20-30 min sound about right. Are you ok about how trading port works ?
Do you know when a family move in you can rename them.
Wait really?! How do I do that?
@@Na_MaPlays Select the Burgage plot select people to change there name. You can change the ox name . In hitching post or small stable under livestock.I am on patch 0.7.975. I live in england so i am infront or behind you some time.
