I think some evidence to this being true is the hyper focus on the ideal lifestyle, hustle culture, flexing wealth, social perfectionism, looksmaxxing and overcompensating masculinity are a direct result of this. There is no right way to live, but we find shit to tell ourselves there is. Get married or work an 8-5 job like a normal person. It's not really a big deal. OF models, Pron actress, streamers and celebrities are all the same. They get to shine in a limelight then once their shining glory is over, they just work like normal people and other people lose their sh8 as if that's an impossible thing to happen.
There are A LOT of Filipino celebrities who were VERY SUCCESSFUL in the 90s and 2000s who are now simply normal people, some even just work at waitresses in restaurants. Like, I don't understand the big deal.
Asmon treats people as if they lived in a bubble "It's their life blah blah, if you don't like it it's the same". The issue is we live all together in a big society and if you live and let live well, we see where that took us don't we? We as a collective absolutely need to call out any and all shitty behavior, or else it will keep repeating itself! And at the end of the day, you can only hope that the voice of reason is the bigger number. That's just true for every single thing in life.
