- I've been playing so much Tears of the Kingdom and Katamari Damacy lately that they've become fused in my mind. So I decided to make a bunch of Zonai devices and other things from TotK and roll them up into a big Katamari.

I know you were joking, but I would absolutely watch a step-by-step tutorial on how to make big battery and small battery.
What
huh
9:22
I would too
Me three
A well edited 33 minute video JUST to show off your finger boarding skills is a whole new level of admirable commitment
Dang, you saw through to my real motive so well
Well would you look at that, Brooks Eggleston in the wild!
yeah you did great! this is my first time waching yor stuff but its so fun!@@StudsonStudio
It's you! I love your videos they always help me!
@@StudsonStudioHi Studson! Please make a Gleeok!
I like to think now every time I lose a hair tie, it’s magically teleported to Studson’s craft room where it’ll be used as details for a Korok backpack. Really puts my mind at ease.
If only he figured a craft use for hair pins we would be set T_T
@@viiranen You mean bobby pins? You could use them as funky handlebars or fences (especially the black ones, they would make an EXCELLENT spooky iron fence). If you're referring to barrettes, you could break off the small metal part and make a miniature sword. Maybe the rest of the barrette could be used as the base of a big leaf, or a boat.
i havent seen him using mine yet, he must be saving it
You types of people are the peoples I want to be Friends with in in real life but can’t because of my social anxiety
You mean the cats don’t eat them🤣
“O, legs” actually killed me, I cackled so loud in surprise my face hurt from smiling. You’re the best, I loved it
Also the fact that he made a "Legless Legolas" reference through that!
Mmmm, Olegs...
@@MissPoplarLeafWhat a good reference !
Hi
It *murdered* me
I have that irrational desire to hoard bits of things for crafting, but Studson actually knows HOW to use those bits. I’m always amazed.
Same! I've got a Pringles can overflowing with little bits and Bob's and a medicine cap full of discarded metal cleats lol
genuinely impressed by the finger skating moves
We won't talk about the other 50 takes where I messed up
that's the secret sauce of every skate vid @@StudsonStudio
Amazing video as always Studson!!!!! Though I think you could’ve shown less mercy to that adorable little forest spirit, it would seem you’re a more graceful craft overlord than I am!
what korok wouldn't want to fly!? you did what you had to
You're right, not enough koroks were harmed in the making of this video. Thank you for your contributions to the Korok Space Program.
Yyyyyaaaaayyyyy so glad that they found you
@@StudsonStudioKSP reference
"seed beads are only one level above glitter in the crafting circles of hell" is the truest crafting take i have ever heard
You would 100% fit into Terry town as a -son, a construction worker who builds stuff with all the leftover materials
his username is literally studson
coincidence? I THINK NOT.
Yeah that's his real job.
i never comment but the boss music at 12:35 accompanied by the struggle to put on a single stud KILLED me 😭 i love your humor, keep up the good work :)
Reached your comment just in time to focus on the video to see that.
I was actually shaking at this part I legit had to turn away because the pain was overwhelming
Utterly phenomenal editing, sound design, story direction, dialog delivery, and sheer creative use of parts. You're the best, my friend. This is commitment and dedication.
Love your videos crafsman !
The amount of game nods you managed to roll up into one single video is awesome! Great job, North of the Border!
Thanks! Hey wait...
I almost died when you said you needed a trinket, and showed the horse centipied, I was so scared you were gonna destroy it! Big sigh of relief when I understood what was going on
😂 “thank you my queen”
I also thought it was a goner, I was so sad.
@@waterbitten Yes, se scared us to much 😂
I love TOTK and Katamari so much, so this is a wonderful combo for me. No one I know understands. All my Zelda friends don't play Katamari, and all my Katamari friends don't exist.
I just realized that the prince from Katamari looks a lot like tingle! I also like to imagine that this is what tingle is doing if he got the power of the ultra hand!
The use of the 'danger music' from Twilight Princess was immaculate. Your videos always have me giggling like a child
Studson rapping out his Patreon as he stick up some goop to make a ball out of everything stays true to the core gameplay of Katamari Damacy -- the chaotic nature of the Prince rolling up the Katamari to make it as big as possible while playing the bubbly, energetic soundtrack.
I genuinely adore all the little details and the consistent audio. The volume is so perfectly balanced, the audio add-ins are perfectly timed. The background music is perfect. Everything. Ugh. This is true art I swear. The effort and passion in these seemingly impossible objects and you recreate them perfectly every time.
I love it when Studson gets into the garbage. He’s like a raccoon with a paintbrush
i am not familiar with katamari damacy whatsoever, so seeing you make all these individual items i was like 'oh wow, what cool zonai build does he have in mind??' and seeing it all come into a giant ball with no particular function filled me with such indescribable silly joy
Every single time one of the Zoni devices are finished I’m still so amazing how realistic they look. They look exactly like they do in the game! Amazing job!
$22 for that little kettle???
Yo, my heart skipped a beat
I'm sure there were more pieces that he'll use in other projects
idk he got rip off or not, but there is a 1/35 set made by MiniArt for only $15 that look exactly like the one he used
And yes there are other pieces too
@@veradistheeggcat229i hope so
what the hell youtuber i used to watch jumpscare
The creativity in not only the amazing crafting and bit bashing but also the editing never ceases to amaze and inspire me! Amazing stuff as always Studson
this is genuinely wonderful. oh my god. studson keeps knocking it out of the park
The rock puns were on a whole different level holy cow
You rock
Amazing build as always
The talent here is crazy. So resourceful, so creative and funny. I can't think of another creator who pulls off so much in one video. This is fantastic!
The Twilight Princess "you're about to die" music gets me every time! Might be my favorite running gag in your Zelda videos lol
Something I am always certain of: If I'm ever down and in need of a "feel good" I can come chill with Studson and laugh my bottom off. Thanks for being who you are, it helps me.
i've pavlov'd myself into falling asleep whenever i watch your videos. they're a huge comfort for me and are consistently amazing whether it's on the first or the fortieth watch. they're great for my insomnia. not great when i watch the new video in the daytime!!!
The amount of effort that goes into less than half second bits is a massive reason as to why Studson remains as one of my top tier favorite youtubers.
No other scratch building channel has had me saying, “Oh I have one of those!” As much as you. So down to earth and really makes use of common garbage.
The 0.01s of Superman after introducing the long-awaited latest entry in the acclaimed Legend of Zumiez series got me. beautiful work and perfectly dumb jokes as always 💞
the magic goop really got me lmao, amazing work as always friend!
Oh my god all the rock jokes.. you make my stomach hurt, I laugh so hard!!! Every time!!!!! Fantastic
I think the best pun ever made was "I said, i meant." Sed-i-ment. Really ROCKED my world with that one.
bro your tech deck skills are immaculate
That patreon shoutout rap at the end was ridiculously impressive. The verse was put together perfectly, flows were insane!
I got more hyped than I probably should have 😂
Unironically would love to hear a serious song/verse from you
Fantastic build, and I love it actually empathizes the zonai glue.
‘ then to hide the ugly seam with this hair tie :D *konk* ‘ I love tiny moments like that
How the hell your brain sees a Madagascar penguin foot and goes - Ohh lamp top is amazing... all of the way your brain works is amazing. Kitbashing is def an interesting talent. This is so cool!
Maybe Shrek is love
I love how creative this whole thing is. I would've never thought of combining those 2 games.
The amount of time this actually take's to make is crazy
25:49 THE PAUL RUDDS COMPUTER REFERENCE GOT ME
The korok is so cute, I like that he's a bit derpy
This build went from great to god teir once he made the sign
Never played Zelda, but I love your videos on this so much.
I actually went and got my own "bit box" after seeing 4:50
It's such a simple and efficient solution to store random tiny pieces and bits.
This was an absolutely delightful video! Stay awesome, Studson Studio!
The phrase "murder roomba" implies that all roombas don't thirst for death
Studson’s sculpting skills have really leveled up.
This was very a very entertaining one, thanks Studson! Love those "silly" moments like when you tossed out the paints! hah and the corniness ever-present (BIG FAN...hah... it BLOWS! hahahahaha) Nice 'Akira Slide' xoxo
ps- I thought those were Crafsman's hands at 2:59 ;)
“This little helpless squirt with the tree star face” and matching visual SENT ME.
This is absolutely incredible. The zonai devices especially look so good, and I love the little Addison clinging to his sign
love that you made the star leaf faced korok, he's also my favourite! Have one tattooed on me :)
Ok this is just dang PRECIOUS. The little details, the PUNS... And that green hot glue? I didn't even knew they had those in color. Amazing, just amazing.
Your videos are like little gems, in the same way cute indie games leave you feeling a concise satisfaction. Loved this one
2:44
None of the Penguins of Madagascar were harmed in the making of this project. Well, except for Manfredi and Johnson.
Your channel has quickly soared to the top of my favorites especially as of late. I've been watching a lot of videos of this genre, from dioramas to figures and the like, but no one does it quite like you do. A lot of channels nowadays have just been using 3D printed assets which is fair, it makes the production easier and faster, but it doesn't hit the same as watching you cut the foot of the penguin of Madagascar toys. Genuinely top-notch quality stuff, keep up the good work :D
Oh my goodness, those Zelda artworks are FANTASTIC! Such a great creative community!
"On the opposing side of the pack, will be a cute little acorn lamp. And for that, we'll need a penguin of Madagascar."
Me (watching a Studson video, having no idea what he's doing): Of course, naturally.
I feel like everyone has just mushed random things together and tortured Koroks and in TOTK
It’s always a joy when you upload Studson
I loved the Katamari game! That was the only thing my dad would have the patience to play with me when I was younger!
"And then I called the kettle a dry-brushed metallic chrome"
21:53
Link appearing for a millisecond when you said “Then I’ll link…” literally KILLED me😂😩😭
Studson literally made junk from a game with junk
Whenever you upload I know I'm always in for a fun and chill time
The editing in these video's bring me so much joy!
The true artistry here is in the writing! Thats what brings me back to these videos time and time again
To pick up beads you could try beeswax attached to a nail/anything to make a handle, it's what stone setters use to pick up dimonds, I think it could work with plastic too. Just smack it on tooth pick in a cone shape and adjust the thickness of your wax tool depending on how small the beads are
Missed these uploads, Mr. Studio! Your crafting skills are truly unmatched
I love this so much, you have no idea
I love Zelda
I love Katamari
This is perfect
Watching your videos always helps me get out of my creative crafting slump! I've been struggling with a lot and so crafting hasn't been high on my to-do list but I'm very thankful your videos have the right amount of spunk (and goop) to get me out of my funk! So thank you again!
the beat switch in the middle of the patreon shoutouts was so unexpected and smooth
What a fabulously creative idea, Studson! It's hard to come up with new Zelda diorama ideas that haven't been done before, but you keep doing it.
I actually have an idea for a Zelda diorama that I don't think has been done before yet also, I hope to upload a video about it before the summer is over!
When the fabric gets all sloppy and transparent 😢
Seems a good place to ask- can anyone recommend a full play through of Tear of the Kingdom with thoughtful and amusing commentary?
Studson, you're awesome as always!
That korok was so dang cute with the little backpack, everytime I watch your videos I am so appreciative of how hilarious your editing and jokes are and it looks so legit! Also the chapters you added to the video are sooo good haha
Your videos never fail to make me happy! Especially Zelda related ones 💚
I kinda wish Link's antenna was the Tri force
who else would be interested in just a basic tutorial of Studson's trademark crafting techniques? How to stipple the best goop, modge the podge, dry the brush, make the wash, etc.
I'm always so excited to see a new upload and the idea of this combination had me really intrigued! If I wasn't already hooked and ready to go, that intro sequence editing would've sent me through the roof. Love all the passion and effort that goes into every part of this channel
Please make the skate board a recurring joke.
I used to be confused why people dislike koroks, but after doing all the memories I understand now.
If you know, you know :)
I just can't understand the dislike for them, they're just so darn cute.
@SlartiMarvinbartfast I thought so too but don't be fooled
The Going Postal reference hitting me out of left field!
I have rewatched this vid at least five times. The multiple little builds coming together in one's beautiful monstrosity!
Actual serotonin bursts all throughout this video!
stop with the puns man, im not a FAN of it
I also adore the luminous talus heart, i kept one as a hammer just for the fun look of it even when it was gonna break on the next hit
This is my first time seeing your channel, and I'm super impressed with the amount of care and effort you've put into these projects. And you really went above and beyond with your song at the end (with disturbingly good quality).
the howls moving castle build used to be my comfort watch but now its this one. i dont even like zelda. i just love watching how you use all of these little objects to make different little objects. your voice and the classy music make for extremely enjoyable watching. that bassoon track is my favorite!
THE MOLE!!! AAAAAAAH!!! 🕳
Genuinely love all the details you include in your builds, as well as your videos! It’s always amazing how you manage to create such unique sculptures in reality, AND frame it within a really entertaining, joke-filled, artistic, playful, musical, lovely little video that shows exactly how you made it in so much detail!!! Keep up the stellar work, I hope you can always continue to create wonderful art that brings you and others lots of happiness! 🌟
I love how flagrantly you destroy your own possessions to create new things. I respect that
i feel like every time studson works on any piece of a project, his first thought is always 'how can i add horseshoes' and i am absolutely here for it
I genuinely appreciate the attention you pay to the closed captions.
Always enjoy your channel. I've been addicted since February. You are a wizard.
I admire your sense of "good enough"-ness. It really helps me not hyperfocus and calms my inner perfectionist when replicating things. Amazing work as always :)
I don't even know who these characters are... except for Link... but it doesn't matter. Watching you make things is so-o-o entertaining that it really doesn't matter who or what the subject is. Thank you for making my day more joyful.
I love the addition of Addison in on this, that was an excellent thing that took this build above and beyond for me.
absolutely FABOULOUS craft!!! i love the intricate detailing. your editing hits it out of the park as always!
10:48 the Tony hawk pro skater sound was epic!!
By far my favorite video yet. I love all you’re videos. But watching you make a bunch of miniature items is so pleasing and entertaining. It would neat to see how you would have tackled all the other devices.
I appreciate that you used 2 royalty free songs for the skateboard jokes that sounded like goldfinger, then legit played a half second of goldfinger for the last joke
I'm a geologist, so I know a lot of rock puns (even came up with a few myself!). You actually got me with the "said I meant" joke, well done!
