That's right. Even though it is known to be dangerous, it is still used quite commonly because of its low cost

I agree. On the farm I worked for we had a large one on a 3 point that thankfully broke its 1 1/4 inch shaft before it killed one of us. It was very dangerous to run and it scared the hell out of me every time I used it.
