The one with the wheel looks extremely unsafe, and i don't want to think of what would happen if that rope gets rapped inside that wheel while it's turning, and what if his foot get trap on the rope when it happens. I don't even want that picture in my head. Split wood jumps, and it does it very fast and violently, and his face is right in front of that wheel the entire time. While the wheel is effective, it's still incredibly unsafe in so many ways.
