    I've been vegan a few weeks (again) but have found that my stomach is uncomfortable a lot of the time. I think it's all the carbs. I've done keto in the past when I was eating meat and my stomach felt much better. I really want to be vegan (for the animals) but don't want to feel like crap! Glad I've found your channel. Hope it keeps me on the straight and narrow 😇

      hi :) i hope you're doing well :) you may have heard about MMC or you can just google it, but basically to improve our metabolism and gut health, we need to maintain intervals between our meals for 3h45mins or more, this way the food gets digested properly and you don't feel as bloated. intermittent fasting is also good for that :)

    I also love your videos. You have a pleasant sounding voice, and of course love the English accent! I binged watched most of your videos last night, and can’t wait to try them all. I made your flatbread, and it came out perfect. This morning I made bullet proof coffee with organic breakfast blend coffee, MCT oil, coconut milk and 1 Stevia packet. Blended it in my Ninja blender. OMG! I absolutely loved it! It was like drinking a latte.

    Will have the bulletproof coffee tomorrow morning. I love the idea of using the hand blender rather than using a large blender because I don't want to wake anyone up with the noise. I will be adding some Costco's Kirkland mixed nut butter that also has pumpkin, chia, and Flax seed in it. I have coconut oil but I will be adding 1 tsp of MCT Oil that I purchased from Amazon. Subscribed.

    I actually mix my hot drink with fat in the mug. My mugs are wide enuf and I start by filling it half way. Then add the other stuff and mix. Then fill it up the rest of the way and stir. This way I don't lose the foam or any of the ingredients in transition.

    Yeah A new video! I LOVE YOUR FOOD RECIPES. It's such a different take on food then what I see from others. Which is something I just love. For my Fatty coffees (as I call them) I use coconut cream ( out of the fridge so all the liquid separates from the fat), coconut butter, vegan butter called Melt (as I prefer it over the others, it's a very pure ingredient list) and/or a vegan cream cheese. I prefer the Go Veggie variety. I did at first try the coconut oil but found my stomach was not too happy with the straight oil in the coffee. So I find getting it from the coconut cream/butter adds alot of great flavor in addition to the high fat content without all the extra oily-ness of just using straight coconut oil. Bonus: try it with butter flavored coconut oil, YUM!
    And boy do I wish I liked avocados, I keep wanting to like avocados and keep buying them and attempting to eat them, but I just don't like the flavor. They have the same texture as butter, which is AMAZING, but this green flavor that I just can't get down with. I want to like avocados soooooo bad. It would make my life much easier.

    Perfect Avocado! I am going to try the PB sauce over it. As soon as you pulled out the sesame oil and the chili sauce I was in. This, I would think, would make a great dipping sauce for most vegetables too. Packing the salt, oil, and nuts to have on hand when I am out and about is a great tip, thank you. Watching you create that bullet proof coffee gave me an idea and I am hoping that it is 100% Keto. Coffee, coconut oil, heavy cream, monk fruit or stevia, and a drop of hazel nut extract, placed in a blender with ice and you have a keto bomb frappuccino of sorts. Hope that works. I am not Vegan so the heavy cream is ok for me. Thank you so much for this video. Wonderful tips and a great recipe to top off my Avocado.

      Replacing heavy cream or even light cream has been very difficult for someone like me trying to live a plant based lifestyle without animal products. But I have found the coconut cream (even with some added vegan cream cheese or coconut butter for more sweetness), makes a really good substitute for heavy cream. It seems to whip up just as well and everything.
      Really oat milk creamer was my fave, but that's definitely not keto friendly and doesn't whip up quite like heavy cream. Though it froths (and STAYS frothed) beautifully).
      I do the same sort of thing with 11 grams of coconut cream, ounce of coconut milk creamer, 10 grams of vegan cream cheese, salt, monkfruit and blend away till well blended and beautiful. It's so yummy. Sometimes I forget the monkfruit and it is still amazing, The salt is very important as it brightens all the flavors and makes it super good. Some times I go a touch over board on the salt and it is like a salty sweet treat akin to those salty caramels or salty chocolates. Just divine. I have it 4 days out of the week!

    • @HeavenlyFan
      @HeavenlyFan  Před 5 lety +2

      I generally don't count calories. I use fat to regulate my food intake. It's very hard to overeat when you're taking sufficient fat. That's the beauty of Keto for me. Will certainly do more videos on my daily eating, thanks for suggesting. As for the Japanese goodies, there's a store in London called Japan Centre where I go often. I also buy some from Amazon.

    Why does nobody talk about avocado oil? High smoke point, neutral flavor, and a perfectly good unsaturated fat. It's a little high in Omega-6 but at least has some Omega-3s to help balance it out.
    Sesame oil is high in Omega-6 with no noteable Omega-3.
