    Using a harvi will only sense upto 65A so hardwired is always a preferred option. Great video mate not used the ev block yet 👌

      Yes another benefit of hardwiring. It’s a good piece of kit!

    Hi, really interesting, what's the size of the underground duct? Many thanks

    Great video but why did you not fit a protection bollard in front of the Zappi?

      Wasn’t really required with it being a domestic property. Could be added in the future if they felt that they wanted one.

    I’ve just had a Zappi 2 installed and I don’t have a hub, just the Zappi and a Harvi?

    • @OvalRenewables
      @OvalRenewables  Před 2 lety +1

      It may be one of the new ones that has the hub built in. This install was about a year ago before they came out. If the serial number has a H in it then you have the new version.

    Where's the surge protection?

    Good video, but I do cringe a bit at using an expensive £400 'EV Block' only to then go and have to mix up a load of concrete anyway!

      Thanks! This was the first time we have used one so wanted to make sure we got it really secure. Probably doesn’t need it but as it was the first time we were a little unsure how to secure it.
