You do such a wonderful job describing the flower shapes, scents, and growing habits. You are a joy to watch. Thank you!
Thank you, that’s really kind
Ben your reviews are fantastic. Oh how I wished I'd found you sooner. You are so thorough! Looking forward to next bare root season to add a few more to my collection!
What do you already have your eye on ?
Gentle Hermoine, just stunning almost translucent pink with a stirring Myrrh, nice and whimsy and always works well even in shade. Just love my Gentle Hermione - never Balls and is pretty disease resistent too.
Yes sceptred isle my favorite
All such beautiful soft pinks‼️I love them all‼️Thank you so much Ben‼️🥰❤️ Debbie ~ Texas 🇺🇸
As surprised you didn't have eustacia vye here.. love the soft pinks
I loved Rosemore, glad i secured 2 Specimen before they pulled that off the Market also...Harlow Carr seems very Mildew prone, i discarded her in the first year...
❤شكرا لك على الورود❤الجميلة بارك الله بك❤من العراق شكرا
In this category, I would recommend the sharifa asma also😊. Or is it to light coloured ? Yeah, might be.
Somebody told me that Sharifa is very sensitive for diseases...
@@bootje18 I own two of them. The second I got lately this year, needs some Support. The other one is healthy . I recommend the scent. I like her indeed.
Hyde Hall has definitely been a workhorse for me!
Me too !
❤❤🙏💯❤✌🌱 any video link about pruning the Rose's.?
My favorite ever is queen of sweden
Question - I ordered both Tranquility and Olivia Rose, and was going to mingle them in a bed that is between our property line with our neighbors. Now I’m wondering if the Tranquility will be too tall to do that. Would you recommend putting them all in the back behind the Olivia Rose? Thank you.
Absolutely stunning collection 🍃🌹🍃
Look out the the short of all the pinks together
Hi .. we have a group of 3 R. Olivia Rose Austin and have found them to have quite strong stems so it surprises me that you say that yours are on the floppy side .. I do agree that it is a fabulous rose and the pink blooms just glow... ive only just found your site stumbling across it yesterday and this is the second video I've seen .. it won't be the last..
Well come along there’s lots for you to catch up on. Should you wish to watch them well over 110 personal reviews and more than a dozen personal collections and tutorials. I’m pleased that you like you are Olivia Rose Austin is it is a very beautiful rose
I had to spade prune Harlow Carr, a lovely little rose, but much too thorny for me
Please recommend a rose similar to the Queen of Sweden variety. A straight bush.
Hello Ben...we enjoy your videos in Belgium.
Can you please tell us something about "Sharifa "..grts
Hi I’m sorry it’s not a rose I have
I hate floppy roses in special here in north state rains heavy so much that my roses and dahlias flower heads hang full of water or even broken stems. Floppy roses should be climbers above my head so when I look up they look down at me, that would be fine.
Do you have a review with robust upright roses with disease resistance please?
Oh I see the queen of Sweden seems to be a resistant to rain and winds rose.
You’re correct it is very good for that the subject you’re asking for information on is very specific and I’m not sure I have enough information to bring you on that subject. However the new addition this year Penelope lively also carries is blooms bolt upright
Hi Ben, was wondering if you grow St. Swithun and if you could share your experience with this particular rose?
Hi, and thank you for your comment unfortunately it is not one that’s in my collection I have no experience of growing that particular variety I’m afraid
Can we have a top 10 rose review for shady areas please?
That one is already in existence. If you take a look on my channel, you’ll be sure to find my best for shade collection. It was actually filmed in 2022. The only new addition that will make it onto that collection next year is “dannahue”
@@the_gardenerben oh I definitely haven’t found that one, and I have watched a lot of your videos 😂 . I will take a mooch, thank you!
Where would you put Gertrude Jekyll ?? I have one but it hasn't flowered yet.
Not on his favourite list, as it hasn't performed for him quite to expectation. I personally love it, but mine definitely works pretty hard, always has plenty of heavily scented blooms.🤷♀
I included it in my all of the pinks selection
Hi, Gardener Ben! Coul you help me with the name of the first rose on the left, the second level, please!❤
It’s Elizabeth
@@the_gardenerben thanks so much! Will be in my garden the week before Christmas! I can't wait for the spring to arrive!❤️
So sweet, those lovely pinks! 🩷 I really appreciate your analysis and descriptions!
