Ohhh the generous gardener is beautiful. Appreciated the close up shot, Iâm looking forward to enjoying mine. Just a stunning garden that is just so inspiring! Thank you, Lauren.
Greeting's from Ireland, Great video and a beautiful garden, We have one very old peony rose no thorns great we get along. My mother is eighty seven and she has lots of the thorny ones which are dangerous. I call down every weekend to do jobs around her flower beds, when I weed around them they get me every time, there have been times where I thought I would end up in A&E. My mother tells me to wear gloves but I've never worn gloves when I garden so I get what I deserve.
Iâve been wait for the grand rose garden tourâŠ.never disappoints. I, too, have ordered roses from Amazon, all have arrived healthy and are now thriving in my front garden. That rose in the front yard that was already there when you arrived looks like a rosa woodsii, a wild, very hardy rose
I think plum perfect & crazy love would be great additions to your lovely garden & hellebores for your shaded areas. Thanks for the tour! I shared in a rose groupđ new subscriber here đđ» just saw on your other video you have the hellebores đ

Gorgeous! I donât know how you ever go inside. I would just wander all day through the roses. Your Sweet Mademoiselles are a Meilland commercial themselves!! Thanks for a great tour! I can only imagine how good it smells in your gardens. đ
i absolutely love your garden roses... I just can't grown these where I live on zone 4... i love watching them though. thanks for sharing healthy growing roses.
Your Ancient Mariner is stunning. Here in Florida mine is an extremely stingy bloomer. Mine in 2 years old hadn't given me even 10 blooms. It looks more like Heritage. I'm thinking about giving mine away. My yard is tiny so I need good bloomers.
So gorgeous !! Beautiful garden you have there !! Your Pomponella is HUGE. I got one because I saw yours in 2022 đbut according to Kordes it's supposed to be 2'x2'đ€. I put it in a pot anyway and so lovely.
I have a Pomponella coming next week... Roses Unlimited has her. Also Amadeus, Bliss and PrincessCharlenedeMonaco. Ordered Ball Gown front High Country, and Francis Meilland from Menagerie. ,
Glorious flowers, you ought to be proud. do you ever find that your roses damage themselves or other roses in the wind? I have an earth angel, and the poor thing looking a little shredded.
I start off by making raised beds with a soil mix I get from our local landscapers. It has compost/sand/and other stuff in it-called landscapers mix. Then I use Max Sea fertilizer which you can find on Amazon!
Iâm not sure how much exactly I threw down under each rose bushâŠI used a little baby flower potâŠmaybe it holds 1/4 cup? Yeah I used that under each roseâŠ.probably waaayyy too much fertilizer but they really like itâŠlol! I was too lazy to use my fertilizer tank this spring!
@@summermoongarden Lol!!! Omg, you are too funny!!! You really was'nt messing around! and here I was so worried to sprinkle just 1 teaspoon on each plant! Shoot, Im definitely going to try this now. lol, maybe not as much as you. I can't get the Maxsea in Hawaii so I order online which nearly kills my bank.đ I gotta use that thing sparingly. Thank you again, I really enjoy all your videos!!!!
Thank you for your beautiful roses garden and your cute cat. I like to ask what kind of fertilizer you feed your roses blooming so big and gorgeous đđ€
Awesome Tour and gorgeous roses. Whatâs the name of the blue salvia in the front new bed. Looks so vibrant. How many hours of sun do you get in the backyard rose garden? They look great for part sun location. Great job!
You have the most beautiful roses!! I ran out of labels for my roses so decided that I have to be done ordering roses this year, ha ha! I only started planting roses last year and now up to 30 roses. My question is, do you have any issues with disease if they are planted too close together? In my new rose bed, some are 24" apart but some are 15" apart.
I live in the south so we battle blackspot here no matter what but I havenât noticed any problems with planting close together. Thanks for watching!â€
iâll never stop saying your garden needs to be in a magazine. Everything is so beautiful anyways I wanted to ask you where did you purchase pompella iâve been searching everywhere and I canât find it. Happy gardenâ€
To get a full look I plant my roses 18-24 inches apart from each other which is very close compared to what most people suggest. If you can plant a grouping of roses in 5, 7, 9 bushes or more then it will look like a sea of roses!
I have many of the same roses⊠what do you do when it rains non stop to stop the canes from breaking under the weight? My EA does terrible in our Georgia heat/sun, shes happy on my covered back porch.đ Z8
I have too many roses to worry about it but if thereâs a nearby boxwood Iâll rest it on that. You can buy individual cane stakes, I bet Amazon probably has some!
And how you maintain your summer romance blooming on a sort Cain? I have several summer romance and they all tends to shoot out long branches before they get some bloom
@@Sindri27 The blooms of The Ancient Mariner have more petals and don't reveal the yellow pistil. The colour is lighter than Scepter'd Isle. The rose in your video has the distinct look of Scepter'd Isle, which is the exposed pistil that you don't see on The Ancient Mariner.

I gotta really agree with you on the Sweet Mademoiselle rose. She's a real beauty and such a vigorous grower. I love her so much, one of my best performers!!!! I seen another girl on CZcams, she was feeding her roses the Max Sea by sprinkling around the plant, just as you did. I thought of trying this but I got scared, I wasn't sure how much to give each plant. But dang, after seeing yours. I need to try this. How much do you use for 1 bush??? What do you amend the soil with when you plant your roses
I make my raised beds with a âlandscaping mixâ soil that I get from a local company. Usually by the dump truck load.â€
