Imagine? I'll one up it! I was in Ukraine, and while the lift there was slightly larger, it left less than that space for one person. As it was Ukraine, it was an old Soviet era lift that reeked of urine and shook a lot. Well, for some reason it decided that it was falling (at least I think that's what happened) and it just stopped. Some people in the apartment block managed to open the doors enough for us to breathe, but it took 40+ minutes for somebody to arrive and free the doors.
In my country theres a motel with 2 capacity people

LOL...I love the comparison to the length of your shoe. How would people move in!! I had enough trouble moving to an apartment building with larger than average elevators.
i got called out to a lift in llandudno rated for 1 person it was like a coffin with ropes on it, someone had got stuck in it freaked out and smashed it up inside.

To mrmattandmrchay The elevator that we had at our apartment building in Belgrade the last time when we went to Belgrade was small too, mrmattandmrchay don't worry when the elevator is small except if it is so ridiculously small that it can't even fit one person or two persons.

I swear I've been in an elevator in Japan that's only a tiny bit larger than this, say roughly 1m² larger, it barely fit 5 people

There is a flat in my city. The lift's capacity is 10 persons or 800 kg. BUT THIS LIFT'S CAPACITY MUST BE 2 PERSONS OR 180 KG!!!
The indicators dont really fit though it just seems that they just slapped those on there

They are called lifts in the UK, and I think in NZ also.
That is because on this planet also exist people that have less than 130kg an asses smaller than Kim Kardashian. They fit in normal size cars and elevators and dont have to drive tank size cars. Hello from Serbia

Lifts are made to take more than one person, it has nothing to do with weight.
Well you certainly got there just in time because the new indicators look to signify that the old buttons are probably long gone by now
Also even if those buttons got replaced they cant add a door close button in because the controller never had one so to add that they would have to replace the entire logic box
Id feel terrible if a really chunky person goes to that building because they would be stuck taking the steps because it would be way too tiny

Not original buttons. That is an Express that has had some upgrades.
Not sure! Those buttons are generic ones from the 60s/70s which might be when the buildings were built and therefore the lift was installed. But perhaps they might have been replaced if the building was constructed before that, but it's unlikely.
I liked everything about this lift except tht annoying ding when it came to the first floor lol. Why is it tht loud lol

When I press the trades button, it what’s a code so how do I get into any flat?
The trades button is on a time clock and simply unlocks the main door. Then the postman (or other trades) can post the letters into the door of owner

Chillout man thats nothing in my country the elevators are in tryangke shape and they only fit one normal person
These lifts are called coffins on strings London county council blocks where fitted with lifts like these on the woodberry down estate in north London where I live they have these small lifts exactly like them maybe you should go and have a look
