    Hey Andrew!
I had a horrible couple of days when it comes to mental things - my head was in the worst place since forever.
It was really, really bad - depressed would be an understatement.
I put on your video, making a playlist with couple of yours recent videos and it helped so much. Can not thank you enough, apart from talent you have an amazing calming presence, similar to Bob Ross.
    Thank you so much!

I’m sorry to hear about your bad days.
Very pleased though that my videos have helped you so much.
Hope you can find some calm in a busy, difficult world.
      Best wishes to you
      Andrew

Oh, my... Treacherous graphite sticks, quicksands and the tide is coming in fast! This is a plein air challenge on a whole new level! Guess, the only thing to do to make it even more difficult, would be to paint hanging upside down from a bungee 😂
But on a serious note, absolutely love unruly freedom and expressiveness of your sketches !

After watching this video I felt inspired to go out and do some plein air sketching. Thanks for the inspiration 😊

Love this - a real plein air adventure, having to escape from the tide! It’s so interesting to see your sketching process from start to finish. The end result looks lively, loose and beautiful.

Such a lovely painting! I am very tempted by oil sticks for drawing outdoors ...

Love the ‘rough and ready’ approach, mark making works very well and produces a wonderful picture.love your sketches.

Much better than an Easter egg hunt!! Given recent weather you did well to withstand wind and waves and create something very special. Credit cards are very good for putting a gesso primer in a board! One of their less dangerous uses!! When i was a Gunwallow Church Cove I found a similar rock easel!

Hi Andrew ! I saw you on a Sky TV show replay, it was very quick. I saw from afar the landscape that you made with graphite or charcoal. It looked very nice.

you make it look easy - I got some oil sticks and am trying what you are doing - it is fun but not near as good as yours so I will practice more because its out in nature and fun.

Thank you. Don’t go too thick too soon. Apply it lightly and layer up gradually. That would be my advice 👍🏻

I am really impressed with your result. I had no idea such a clumsy medium could yield a nice little painting. Cheers from the desert.

Needed yellow (green) on rocks and more yellow white on sand and more graphite stick scribbly mark making according to Basil and he's boss. 🙂
    Otherwise looks good.

Good fun.....and make a mess my motto.....nice sketch ....I use big sennelier as well keeps me from getting too precious with my sketches

Ain't it nice of Mother Nature to provide you a working table😉 on the channel of Sennelier there's a demo from the Artist Director Ives Marie Salanson painting a Seascape on a large canvas with Oil Sticks and He gets pretty messy too. Anyway, happy Easter to you and your loved ones...and of course Basil 🐰

It's Basil! (Ever fear the Bazzer gets as much affectionate attention as you do? But, he can't paint; so far as we know.... you'll be in real trouble if he proves he can!)
By the way - Sky Landscape Artist of the Year - you WERE robbed; nor am I the only one who thinks so.

Thank you very much Robert for your support my friend. Basil is always the star. He’s regaining his strength after a bad ear infection sidelined him for while.
      All the best

Thank you Andrew for another wonderful scene. I particularly liked your comment about oil sticks not allowing you to get too fussy rendering the subject. Maybe they help preserve the vitality of the experience.
