Note on the M plate frame: I got 2 frames from Amazon that looked exactly like the BMW OEM frame…saved $15 & got 2! BUT, the Amazon plates didn’t hold up. After 6 months, the domed M decal was lifting. Replaced it with the BMW plate frame & no issues!
Gotta watch out for those knock off brands, always read the most recent reviews!

I highly recommend a key fob cover. I traded in my 2017 X3 last Monday for a 2023 X3, and when we removed the key fob cover, the key looked brand new.
It is great to have for style and adding uniqueness.

good stuff but I can never find a kay fob cover for the i4…everything is for the type a fob but not the new type g…anywhere you know that has it?
Best place to look would be on amazon, they should have plent of the blade style key fob covers.
Do I need to use leather conditioner, etc.. to maintain the leather? You mention wipes in the video.
I personally haven't heard of many people using the wipes, the leather does a great job of holding up well. You could look into Simonize or Glass coat so it adds another layer of protection.

I have the genuine BMW all weather, rubber mats. They are very slippy when wet, just a warning. Also with the 4 series at least you can get the four mats and boot mat as a set. You can in the UK anyway.

Do you have any pointers for enabling my iPhone to become a key, I go through the process of putting the phone inside the car on the slot, I have two of the key fobs with me, but I keep getting "unable to sync" message, any advice?
You're doing the procedure right. I recommend following the setup through the MY BMW app if you are not doing it through there. I would also check to make sure it's not a phone related issue so you could try another phone. Make sure the phone is up to date and no case it attached to it. Also have it placed properly flat on the tray. Let me know if this helps in anyway! good luck!

I would, winters are usually when the roads are the worst. Potholes, Tire Bubbles, etc.
BMW wall box is available. Got one last week from bmw dealer in Minnesota.
Didn't know they started rolling those out! Our dealership is one of the top ones in the country and we don't have them in stock yet. Lucky you!
Wiper blades every 6/ 12 months ? Sorry but disagree completely.
They are approx £80 for 3 from BMW on a 3 series tourer and changing them every 6 months would be madness.
Gotcha, yes, it would all depend on where one would live. Ultimately the best rule of thumb would be to replace the wipers when it begins to shows streaks on the windshield.

I wish they would come standard with rubber mats. Carpet gets messed up no matter what season it is...
Agreed, I know many dealers are now including them with the factory builds. The carpet ones do not hold up well in the winter at all. I personally keep the rubber mats in year round.
Also get a M badge for your vehicle. Simply putting some M badges on your 4 cylinder will earn you so much respect in the streets.

6 to 12 months for wiper blades ?? what if rarely used ?
Best way to know is looking if the wipers make streaks on the windshield when it is wiping, more streaks more likely that it needs to get replaced. Also if it starts to jump and not work right.

Wiper blades? On my good old E60 I used the same pair for 11years, over 240.000km-s. I even had two windshield replacement (due to some stone chips) and never ever had any issue with them. On my next BMW (218i Active Tourer) the wiper made annoying arch-shaped marks right after 3months...

Just bought a f22 with roof racks from a dealer but it had no keys, had to special order one that cost me $35 just so I can remove them

Correct, some vehicles have the plug into the hole, most of them are the ones that connect to the headrest.

Thanks for the feedback, Yes these were more for OEM parts/accessories, majority of consumers purchase these over the aftermarket ones. I have one planed with aftermarket accessories coming that one will mention "aftermarket" in the title/thumbnail.

I doubt it, they have been using those styles for years now and havne't had any issues since.

You really don’t need a separate charger. You can just use the cable that comes with the car.
May not pertain to all of them, at least here in the US or with BMW Dealers. None of the vehicles I've seen come with cables!
@@BeamerView my iX came with the cable. I just plug it into the NEMA 14-50 outlet in my garage, and it works great. I am in the US.
My car (2023 X5 hybrid) came with the cables but it charges very slow so we got the wall charger...works much better
2023 x5 plug in hybrid in the US came with a cable, but max charge rate was 110v at 10 amps only, but car is able to accept 16 amps.

Yes, all EV PHEV vehicles come with a charger. The hybrid ones can connect to a 110 outlet and charge overnight without issues.
As for EV, if you use the one included with the car, the 110v source would take over 100+ hrs to charge, but plugging it into a 240v would have it charged overnight.
Bmw’s cargo mat is garbage. The velcro comes off and slides around.
Yeah the older generation was too bulky and big, I'd prefer the Liners over the mats for the cargo area.
