Just FYI to anyone getting these, they recommend .156 anti walk pins. Thanks so much HW for giving these back to the community. This is my first ever drop in and now the debate starts, new gun for new trigger………………..don’t tell the wife.
I bought my BD Zero Trigger from your test and recommendation...
BEST F#*+!NG TRIGGER EVER MADE!
It took me 27 pulls to get my Wheeler digital to give me a reading outside 4.3-4.8 lbs and I think it was just a mercy pull because it's 100% consistent. (Model:4.5lb/NP3 internals)
For the first time I'm loading snap caps in my AR's... This damn trigger is AMAZING, period. Good call, thanks bro.
I'm the lady who bevels the shoe edges.
No you're not I am
One of the most through trigger reviews I've had the pleasure of watching. Thank you for all your hard work. God bless and stay safe.
Bought one of their triggers and full disclosure it initially had some issues. As a result I contacted Blackout, and they fully stood behind their product. They were awesome and sent me a new one right away. Their customer service is outstanding and the new trigger runs great. Better than my hyperfire eclipse by far and I prefer it to my friend’s 2 stage Geissele. Will be building a blackout defense rifle in the future.
What were the issues you had? I just want to know what to look for I just ordered a the 3 pound trigger 🔥
@@Javier51694 light strikes
just ordered the 4.5# hybrid and all the whistles. Thanks!
I absolutely love you trigger video's I have watched all three of the series so far I like the detail you go into explaining the triggers, you have taught me allot about triggers but I would like to see you shooting them individually fast rapid fire and standard fire. thanks
Best trigger videos on CZcams by far💯
Great review. Triggertech ar10 shoe has hard edges. Round them myself but still not a magic trigger. Wish there was something like a Bix n Andy trigger goodness but in AR.
You give good recommendations, I’ve took a few with no regrets.
Harley Wood great review you just sold me on this trigger.
Thanks for all your videos...Have a Blessed Life. 🙌
Awesome review! Looks like a great trigger
Yea, that’s what make your trigger reviews the best! The travel measuring. Shi….that is a good trigger!🔥💯
Great review man, there's going to be some (trigger) happy winners.
Damn I legit just bought this 20min ago didn't know there was a promo out there .. subbed immediately .. I see you around brother deuces ✌🏽
Been waiting for this review👍
I love your videos man. Thank you
Just ordered the AR10 Zero 4.0 in NP3 for the MK47 😎 Can’t wait to try it. Thanks for the recommendation HW
I did the same thing with my Mk47. You’ll love it. Zero issues even with notoriously hard primers
Thank you for the video and the 10% off coupon! 👍
Seems like a cool trigger, although I prefer a curved 2 stage these days. Might build a 7.62x39 so can wait for the more springy one. Did get their 13.9” barrels to try out, waiting to on a specific handguard to put it together😒.
Great review
🤞🏼for that giveaway. Great review and it seems like they have a solid trigger.
Hey Harley try the TTU trigger From Wilson combat it is amazing. I have it on my AR it comes in different weights and stages. Single is my favorite. If you could review one of these even better. Be well hope to hear from you soon.
Watching you & Blackout Defense on CZcams.
Badass craftsmanship !!!
How would you compare this to the hiperfire pdi? I'm looking at one of those 2 for my mk18
Did you use their anti-walk pins or just what your AR already had?
Will torquing apply pressure to the trigger making it heavier to pull?
Nice review.
How's this compare to the Velocity triggers?
Great review. Of the best triggers out there. They make the best triggers. I have wished to get my hands on one for ever. Maybe I will get lucky Thanks for your time
Your beard is sooooooo glorious, you smell like a real man! Not gonna help you win a trigger big boy!🤣🤣🤣🤣
Seems pretty amazing when I want to save money I buy CMC and I’m pretty happy with it. But I will give this one a try.
I got mine, you won't ever regret it.
How does this trigger compare to the TriggerTech Adjustable and RiseArmament 535 and 434 triggers? @HarleyWood
Can u do a hiperfire pdi review? If you that is.
how much you want for the timmey trig? seriously I'll buy it. you could hook it up with 1 of those blackout triggers. it would def get dropped in my 300 blackout!
Following both of you right here on YT
Man trigger will look good in my 300blkout keep it up
Building a lower for a maxim pdx (7.62) upper. light primer strikes on some wolf. Heard any updates on that ar10 hammer? Can’t wait to see a review if you do one!
Yes. The design is done. They’re testing now. They’re specifically using TulAmmo and some other notoriously hard primers for testing.
@@HarleyWood23 right on, thanks 🤙🏾
What an amazing design. Quaaaaaality!
Thanks for the discount code, brother! I pulled the trigger on this purchase... see what I did there? 👈😆
Entered in the giveaway!!!
Awesome video! Great content, as usual!!!
😎👍👍
I actually bought their complete lower that comes with this trigger, will be picking it up next week.
Not sure how it adds up to $830 for the lower though🤔🤔🤔.
The stripped for $225 not bad though
@@derek3154 You know what, I questioned that as well, but I just didn't want to go through the hassle of buying and assembling all the other parts...that and I wanted the Mark 1 which they don't have any stripped of. I didn't really care for the Mark 2's look.
@@derek3154 So I actually texted one of the guys that work there and he gave me this breakdown regarding the price discrepancy
Receiver - 225
Trigger - 205
Safety - 45-65 (depending on material)
Grip - 25
Stock - 75
Hardware - $155
Labor - 80
I asked further what the hardware entails and his response was:
“ Our hardware is billet stainless steel. Our mag drop is machined tool billet steel, pivot and take down are 303 stainless steel and the buffer is H3 with silicone chrome spring “
@@ImGayWhenISayThisBut those are msrp priced for sure, I’m sure they pay half that for those parts. They are entitled to make money so if your ok paying for it then it’s cool. Sounds like a bomb proof lower😎.
@@derek3154 Yeah I have no problem with it. Mainly because it was actually my brother who bought it for my bday coming up, and he gets military discount so that helps.
Will this work in my AR 300 BO build? I am debating between 3 & 4.5 lbs. I would like to use this for hd. Which would you recommend? Thanks. Merry Christmas.
It will work, my advice get the 4.5 for HD bro and spend the $ on the NP3 internals... The lighter trigger could lead to an unfortunate touch off.
This trigger is the best I've ever seen and I've owned the top tier triggers, none better or more consistent than this trigger
Do you have a similar “ zero”break trigger you recommend for the mk47?
Yea I’m not to sure if he forgot to mention it or they hadn’t released it at the time but they have a ar-10 trigger now so I would definitely get that bad boy
This would be a nasty binary.
Is the nps 3 coated trigger worth the extra money? Home defense suppressed 10” 300 blk pistol
I want to know this as well. As I prefer a black trigger but if it’s worth it, I would like to give it a try.
It's absolutely worth it, I chose the
4.5/NP3 internals...amazing
heck my mil-spec trigger sucks so bad, I will take your used timney you have thrown in the drawer, or any other trigger you don't want for an AR-15, anything beats my mil-spec stock trigger. but I would love to have that Blackout Defense Zero trigger that thing is sweet
Do you think these triggers are better than say a Geissele Super Dynamic 3 Gun?
They’re very comparable. I have that Geissele in a 300BO build. I’ve had several G triggers and that is the only one I’ve kept. Now with my discount code, the BD trigger is quite a bit cheaper for basically the same quality.
Any promo codes? Would like to purchase one of these.
Yep. it's in the video description. Code "HW10" for 10% off
Appears that jig moves a slight bit each time the trigger is pulled so I'm thinking the vise could've been tightened down a bit tighter for this test.
Let me have that timney trigger if you don’t want it
Would this trigger be good for a shtf build?
Rise armament RA 434 has a 3.5 pound trigger pull for under $200 bucks. And has the exact same no take up, clean break with no over travel the same as the one he just tested in this video.
Can I have the timney
You dirty bastard....Daniel defenseSTOCK? LOVE THAT EVER SINCE SICCARO
Awesome review Harley! I can't wait to win! Hahahaha!
Can it shoot tool ammo?
Yes
Did you like the 3 or 4.5 more?
I run the 4.5 unless it's a precision rifle. The 3.5 just feels too light for a self-defense setup.
@@HarleyWood23 cool thanks for the reply
@@HarleyWood23 HW is EXACTLY right
Please get a psa custom single stage and then compare it and this with the geissele and cmc and whatever else!
Done a CMC and a few Geissele triggers. No PSA yet. Check out my trigger playlist. Link in description
@@HarleyWood23 I've seen them! And love them. I just meant include the numbers or clips of the geissele/cmc for comparison to the psa and blackout.
Your jig moving every click is driving me crazy lol
Now.....if Blackout, Geissele, Fostech or any other major trigger designer would come out with a zero reset, 1 mm pull binary trigger that is under $395 MSRP......you would have something really special. Don't tell me this cannot be done, we all know it can. Make it happen Blackout.
Thats sounds like the most gimmick Instagram trigger....
@@Dexter-nw2feseriously what kinda goof ball would want a trigger like that? Even these single stage triggers aren’t the best. Solid 2-stage is what u really want!
I bought the Mimtac drastic, and you don't need it to be binary. just by firing it even remotely loosely, it bumpfires. essentially a zero reset trigger and it's 99 bucks. would I buy it again? probably not, just get rave 140 or a 3.5lb mil-spec style for 120ish.
They all the same same footprint as any other brand just a 5$ manufacturing cost to make that trigger
Not really they make all of their components themselves
Need to put the trigger gauge in the middle of the trigger. Not bottom.
If you think installing a Timney trigger in an AR is difficult just because of those longer springs then you have issues. It's not difficult at all. Also, just encase those "chaser set screws" that secure the "set screws" happen to back out, those long springs lay directly on top of them so their not lost. Timney triggers have been around & proved the test of time for decades. Just because Blackout Defense is sending you stuff for free don't talk $hit about Timney.
And just because Timney’s been around longer doesn’t make them better. Don’t get all butt hurt because I don’t like your choice of triggers. It’s just an opinion and shouldn’t hurt your feelings.
I suppose anything’s possible, but I have nearly a dozen different triggers with the bottom set screws. Some have the chasers, some don’t. Never in tens-of-thousands of rounds have any of them loosened. Honestly I think the chaser screws are just added security but really not even necessary.
Hahahahahaha 🤣 aww
Wow dude you "triggered" hard...😂😂😂
FYI when you talk about ar10 you said "it won't run 7.62x39" when you meant 7.62x51.
If you watch more closely, i actually say .308 (7.62x51) a few times, both at the 2:07 mark and then again at 6:41 mark.
They have ar-10 triggers now I would stick one of those if you have a 7.62x39 rifle
@@f.e.oeeorch581I use a cmc in my 7.62x39, runs like a dream
Following you both on FCZcams.
