Im just now realizing this is just a 6.75 in barrel MCX Virtus. The rattler has a 5.5 in barrel and those handguards do not work on the rattler. Also the side plate on this one even says virtus. The rattlers says Rattler. Not that it changes the review or anything, just thought I'd point it out.

Exactly. The virtud has a port cut away next to the opening for the gas block adjustment.. the rattler is solid. I have both a rattler and a virtus so I had to do my own research. They don't offer a SD handguard the rattler that long.. only a 5 in. The virtus has a 10 and a 12 in SD rail option

Only reason why I put a supressor on my guns is that the home burglar won’t see me on his mini map after my shots have been fired.
I had my Liberty Leonidas re-built with a 8.3" BA Hanson barrel, Mid West 15" suppressed Mlok Handguard, and Ti Suppressor and LOVE it.
I love my Rattler and I can engage targets at 300 yards easily with supers and that's using RMR. It defies logic, but it's the best 300BLK firearm I have.

You forgot to mention the replaceable steel cam pin path insert. Granted the average shooter will never wear it out but is still worth noting. I used my mcx upper on my nfa lower and after about +/- 20k rounds it was pretty worn. Still in my top 5 firearms of all time.

They are actually not using the Rattler for the video. What you see is an MCX Virtus, presumably modded with the 6.75 in conversion kit (this is also probably why the gas blowback behavior is a bit tamer than the Rattler). You can tell that this is the case due to the fact that the Rattler handguard is different than the Virtus handguard. Speaking of which, the handguard used is the 12in suppressor compatible MLOK Handguard. As stated in Sig Sauer's website the MCX Rattler uses a proprietary gas and barrel system that is not analogous with the MCX Virtus.

In the sand box we would use any paint we could get our hands on. There are many other choices that are stronger and withstand scratching and chipping. Also as a painter use use a prep solvent to pre clean the surface before you clean to help the paint stick better.

5:22 300 Blackout is a really interesting caliber in that it uses spent $.30 cartridges and turns them into $.55 cartridges and now in 'rona times $1.50 making GT's cash burn rate while making this video faster than the United State Government's.

I got home and tried to wipe off the melted plastic from the suppressor with a rag full of alcohol, and it did absolutely nothing. *doh moment* I should've known that plastic melted to a suppressor won't just wipe off. is this a Rattler or a Virtus? Title and 4:20 they both name it as Rattler but at 5:17 the taller guy calls it a Virtus. Either way, when I Google for it I can't find the exact they have in this video?
@@phabeondominguez5971 it’s the Rattler in the MCX line. Virtus is also an MCX but the longer (9”) and just as modular version. The rattler I would consider for SOCOM/CQB/discrete use. The Virtus is more the M4 “all ‘rounder” rifle when you don’t need/want a full 16”. They are pretty much identical in every other aspect so many end up referring to all MCXs as “Virtus.”
Sorry, its not a Rattler for several reasons. It's actually a MCX TACOPS model. The Rattler does not have a forward assist (yours does), the Rattlers cannot fit the large round "TACOPS" handguard you have installed. The 300 Blackout barrel length for the one you have in your hand is actually 6.75 inches - not 5.5 inches as said in the video. Other than that its a MCX Virtus...
