It's an incredible weapon that unfortunately is hard to obtain and thus there isn't a whole lot of information on it. In today's video we take a shooters perspective while taking a hard look at the Glock 18.

My uncle, Stanley Sniff, was the elected Sheriff of Riverside County California from 2007 to 2018, and his issued service weapons were a Glock 18c and a fully Automatic MP5 that came in a special brief case that he kept in the trunk of his unmarked Crown Victoria. So sweet!

The Chicago drill, You only get points for hits on the 15 "Innocent bystander" targets. Bonus points for targets under 3ft tall.
But they're doing it wrong, you have to shoot behind you as you run away from the target.

Glad you showed that the G18 isn't the uncontrollable thing everybody thinks it is. I got my chance with one when my department transitioned to Glocks and all of the rangemasters received the Glock rangemaster training. The Glock instructor brought one with him and we all got to line up and run some rounds through it. When it got too hot to handle, it went into a bucket of water to cool off before handing it off to the next guy in line. Sure wish he'd had that comped slide with the RDS though. That "Chicago drill" had me laughing to the point of vapor lock!

Lmaooo. Everyoneeeee has a 17 with a switch. A lot of ppl have select fire AKs and ARs though too. The 17 with the switch is just for the car. For the crib you've got a full auto 308 with a 50 round drum, and in the garage you've got the full auto draco with the 40 round bananna mag. The full auto makes up for being a lousy shot ahaha

I got to fire a legally converted dealer sample g19 quite a bit years ago. It was the definition of "ride the lightening". The best way to fite it was with the 32rnd extended magazine and using the support hand to pull back and down so it pivoted on the string had. I wish i had tried it with a compensated barrel or a brake.

It'd help if they didn't aim one handed like 1910 army officers, one that for some reasons using their broken arm.
Proper stance, two-handed grip, and arms locked or at least tensed to brace for the recoil is literally all it'd take to spray opps squad instead of painting his block and everyone but the target.
Absolutely love that you take your viewers ideas into consideration, but when I said comp I was specificly talking about the Strike Industries Mass Driver Glock compensator, but I understand with rapid fire vibrations it would probably come loose but its a recoil rod mounted comp verses barrel, anyway as a follow up it would be a great video to try out the Magpull FMG-9 folding submachine gun based on the glock platform with a folding conceal cqb pdw beast of a covert compact platform, altho they initially weren't going to be produced and were only a proof of concept, Magpul decided to offer them considered a SBR, also another gun showcased in COD games of old, they made a short run of the Folding Glock Full Conceal frame that should be a good base for the applied concept
Now we need a drum video and conversion kit with this mythical hand gun. Would be insane set ups!

I first found this gun in the game Delta Force Land Warrior on PC back in the late 90s. Fantastic game, fantastic weapons, and full auto Glock sidearm.
I was issued one for a security contract in Thailand, the whole principle team each got one for that contract. Ours had cutouts on the slide and vented barrels.
We didn't get any 30rd mags, just the factory 17rd mags sadly, and of course we had to give them back to the Thai government when our contract was done. That was back in 1998, fun gun for sure, easy to control but blew through those 17rd mags in what seemed faster than a second, probably not that fast, but it felt that fast.

1200 rounds per minute is 20 rounds per second, so it probably was that fast. Working the math the other way around, even a slower 1020 rounds per minute would dump all 17 in one second (not counting the initial trigger delay).

I'm from Switzerland and I own a Glock 18 Gen3. it's very easy to control magdumping at 0-7 meters. I can confirm that these things get stupid hot. on my first rangeday with it I fired about 400 rounds and I couldn't hold it anymore without gloves, lol. with the Fischer FD917 suppressor I can even suppress it with the OEM barrel.

I carried a cz75 burpgun while doing high risk security in the middle east in the late 1980s. The other guys had mp5 but i had my mg3 and my cz as my personal weapon.
Had an opportunity to run an 18C several years ago and it was ridiculously flat with bursts and full send.
So glad the team braved the wilds of a Chicago middle school to bring this back and show it off to us.

Agreed on the finish. Gen 3 is my favorite by far. I have a glock 18 born in the early 2010's by far my favorite machine gun in my collection.
Got a Glock 18C, absolutely love it, u cant get them anymore here in switzerland and my 18C is even more controllable, its amazing! :))
