I love my 239. I carry concealed, but I shoot the Sig really well. A lot of people knock it for the weight, but I like my guns a little heavier and more solid. Less recoil at least.
Thanks for the great review, I am getting the Sig P239 in a week, I can't wait to take it to the range. Your comparisons of the two guns are really well thought out. I appreciate you taking the time to put this together.
tempestscout2 Thanks for checking it out. You will love the P239
Here are two great 9mm handguns that I havent spoke about much lately
Cual te gusta mas y por que??? Sorry q te escriba en Espanol!
Thanks a lot Eric. I love both of these guns
Thanks Jim and both of these guns are winners for sure
Excellent choices, great review! Thanks.
I'm late to this video but the P239 is an excellent gun. It's one I would not trade. Good job on the video, BTW.
+Patriot Bill Thanks Bill
My Sig 239 in 40 was my first gun and I still shoot it better than any other gun I own. Great vid.
Thanks man I love both of those guns
Not enough reviews on the H&K 2000. Loved your content. Thanks 🙏
Thanks bud
I shot a Sig P226 last week and it was great. Loved the feel, trigger and accuracy
Great comparison! Grettings from Poland!
They both sound like excellent guns. Thanks for the reviews.
Thanks for the video and the reviews. I have the smaller version of these guns. I have an H&K 2000sk and a Sig P938 (Black rubber grip) and I love them both. I don't know that I could choose just one if I had to.
I wouldnt say that. A Blocky gun would be a Glock or Springfield. The P2000 is thicker than the P239 although it carries more rounds.
I'm also wrong handed. All Sig controls with trigger finger - Not a problem.
Ive done several comparisons and this one was the hardest choice Ive made. Both are great
They sure are brother thanks for checking it out
Both are awesome pistols, but I leaning more towards the H&K
Great review my friend.I want them both.
Awesome gun video! Both guns seem like a good defense option, great shooting!
nice video man thanks for sharing and great shooting man
Thanks brother much appreciated
Thanks Mike both of these are winners
Great video, very informative.
Another great vídeo! Both are very nice guns.
Much appreciated Big Blue
If you go with the Sig P239 with the single stack mag you should be able to hold it well with small hands. Its a great gun
H&K all the way. Having shot both HK just feels better
Much appreciated bud
I have to shoot the Sig P239 ! But I absolutely love my H&K P2000! Also ambidextrous so my wife who is a lefty has no problem shooting it. Great video chief!
Thanks brother
Good point I didnt think about that
Yes sir and I love em both
Both of those guns are awesome!
Both manufacturers make great guns their quality is way up there, great video.
The additional weight on the Sig isnt substantial enough to make a difference IMO
Yes sir great looking gun
I love my Sigs, 239, 938, and 229. My EDC is the SA 938.
Thanks Colonel from one H&K fan to another
Thanks Dino Im a proud dad of these guns
Two fine handguns. The Sig P229 DAK 40cal is my duty issue and I love it. I would really love to have an HK though.
Going to be doing some AR shooting this weekend for sure
Its a close call. I still love the P2000
Great Review....I probably would have made the same decision at the end of the day. Sometimes we dont need the bells and whistles and only need something that shoots well...
i miss the dry erase board.. great vids brother
Love the lisp, when he speaks.
That would be a great comparison but I feel the need to review these because I own them both. If I could borrow a P229 I would have done that
Yes sir Im lucky to have both
Nice Job My Brother
Great video and great taste in guns! I shoot my P226 better than my P30 as well. Just something about a Sig for me. My next purchase is definitely a P239 without a doubt. Thanks for the great comparison.
Thnaks bud. Im hot for the H&K P30 but no doubt the P226 is excellent. Thanks for checking out my vid
Great video! What is your take on the Sig P226 9mm?
Good vid my friend.
I dont have much experience with CZ but sure would like to check it out
Curious wht you think bout either of these compared to the walthers have a ppx 9mm an just got the ppQM2in 9mm as well monday have you done any vids on walthers if so whts the name of vid if not would u ever do any vids on them in the future?? As always thanks for the info bro!!!:)
The sig isn't ambidextrous so, as a lefty; I automatically rule that gun out! The HK is awesome! And I definitely plan on joining the family in a few weeks when I pick up that HK 45 compact for my conceal and carry weapon. I then plan on picking up either this HK P2000 or VP9 and then the HK 45. Great video!
militantx0660 Thanks man. I like the ergos on the HK better too
How are you liking the HK 45C? Did you ever get the p2k or vp9?
This comparison could have gone either way. Both are great guns. Thanks for checking out my vids buddy
Understood. Thanks for the replies
Fun video,... Thanks.
Hey man, how are you? I picked up a P239 used in new condition in .357 Sig. I was interested because the Sig will stand up to high pressure +p loads with no issues and I dig the caliber. I got it for $650 and it is gorgeous. I’m going to have to be on the lookout for mags. Cool gun. I have a VP9 and love it. It is my most accurate polymer gun. P239 has full length rails and is way overbuilt.
Yeah for a difference of 3 ozs I do too. I really want to shoot the H&K P30
Yeah no doubt. I used to have a Glock 32 in .357sig and regret trading it - great rd
The only Walther I reviewed was the P22. Ive shot Walthers here and there but not the gun you mentioned
Very true as they both shoot great but I can do just a little better with the sig
❤Hi,... Thanks nice video!.... My 9mm p239 has a very long take up in single action,...right at 3/8". Is this normal for this pistol.? It feels very strange to me. Thanks...
Both of these guns compare well. The P229 in 9mm would have made a great comparison to the H&K P2000
I know man its a sweet gun. I love shooting it
I agree
Thanks I feel better already (my mind was made up) about committing to a P239. Should go well with my P226. I had to let my G19, gen 4, that I'd installed Big dot night sights, extended match grade barrel (what ever match grade means, not sure it made me a better shot lol) I bought to extend the life of my brass. You already know about Glock barrels ect. Anyway it was the only way I could justify another gun. These choices are tough lol. I hope you trade up to a gun that you like enough to make it all worth while.
I like the looks and functions of the H&K. But whatever you shoot better is always the winner in the end.
Grate video. Love my HKp2000 sk. Bad ass. Oh in 40.
Thanks Bill
Got the P2000 Lem v2 for under $675. The SIG 239 is on my radar for my fiancee as she loves our sig p220 trigger
I dig the Sig P239
I'm really really thinking of one, I THINK I found one with A DAK in .40....or a SIG really similar to this one. So you dig the SIG 239 more than the P2000 or a P30 LEM? I know you like those from the videos so I'm just curious ;)
What's your current carry piece if I may ask? Just wondering, I'm a fan.
Thanks like I said in the video no gun (maybe a 1911) double taps like an H&K
Check out the Kahr CM9. I carry and love that gun
No arguement there. I want the P30 next
Do you prefer the P30 over the P2000 now?
Are you thinking three in one? I know the M&P does it, but it's problematic when dropping down to 9mm. Case heads are different and so is the recoil impulse.
Yeah no doubt both of these guns are great
The P239 will be my next purchase. My carry is a Beretta, wish I would've thought about looking at a Sig before buying it. I picked up a SP2022 last year and fell in love with the brand.
I love the P239. Just featured it on my latest vid called "The best 9mm handguns"
I know the feeling brother I get jealous after watching videos too
Damn you can run that P2000 like a machine pistol, I'm impressed.
I wanted The Sig P 2022 but Sig is not very lefty friendly where as the HK P2000 is completely ambidextrous so I went with the P2000 V2 with the LEM trigger. Just got it two days ago. I love it so far but liked the look of the Sig 2022 better (I know, it’s just looks but it is sexy as hell that 2022). I will tell you that I picked up an aftermarket extended mag release from HK parts and it was less than 20.00 and it makes that mag release so much better and was very easy to install. The paddle style mag release on the newer P30s is still better but no one is manufacturing one for the p2000 that matches the size and shape of the p30 release.
My P239 has markings of SIG SAURE CUSTOM SHOP > How does it differ from the other P 239's ??
It is no doubt but I double tap the H&K a little better
Which do you think is better for small hands? Can't seem to find a gun shop that has a p2000 in stock so I can't hold it before ordering..
Which trigger is better on the hk da/sa or Lem? Some local stores around here sell the p2000 and the p2000sk for $632. Think I'm going to grab the sk for deep concealment.
jonathan retzsch I have an SK from shot show coming up. Both are great its a matter of preference
Ok I will give em to you
two great guns, but that h&k is real nice. i was suprised to see the sig with only 8 rounds of 9mm...the p229 holds 10 of .40! just a slight turn off. i would buy the h&k over the sig comparing only the capacity of ammo for these two. cool video.thanks for sharing!
chon balon actually that's the Cali gun, the p2000 comes everywhere else with 12 round mag.
Thumbs up Dan!
they are both beautiful guns...I will say that for the kind of money they cost I would want an all metal gun...but part of that price is for the quality so you get what you pay for...I love the H&K the best
agreed
I have a 239 in 357. It's not my favorite, but when I see the common threads in gun forums "If you could only have one handgun..." It pops into mind as a strong possibility. For someone who has to go to hell and back though, it's a no-brainer-HK.
Ok thanks Pete
I see you dare not disagree. I'm getting quite the reputation on the WWW.edit:Just kidding. I detect you have a southern accent? That means your the expert on gun issues, lol.
Oh yea, I see the hk2000s going for $650 occasionally on sale here in CA.
Sig = All metal, full length slide rails
H&K = polymer frame and very short slide rails
Thats why I bought both of these guns used from reliable people. I wouldnt pay that much either
OK one day I will
I love my P2000.
Very cool man
FYI - the 239 does have ambi mag release - instructions are in your owner's manual.
Haha youve been watching me for a while
I bought a good used P239 recently for $500. Good shooter too
Yes it sure is Robert
Yeah I never realized how much the firearm world is molded to right handers
TheFireArmGuy please do a review of the Hk P30. I picked one up a few weeks ago and just want to see what you think of this ergonomic dream gun.
Just an outstanding gun. I love the P30. Would love to review it
