- I've been renting Marquee Letters for about a year now. This video is what I have learned over the past year and what I would change or make better. Renting Marquee letters has been a decent side gig for me and my business. If you have a small shop and you are looking for extra income, I think this is a great way to make extra money. Great video. With the higher wattage bulbs is there any concern stringing large words together? Is there a max number of letters you would string together with the higher wattage bulbs?
They are LED so it’s not really a higher wattage, it’s an equivalent wattage. You could string the longest word in the dictionary together and it would still be okay. Each bulb is about 1 watt. A 110 outlet can handle about 1800 watts.

diy wm plans show 1/2" sides for 3' letters, do you feel there's much of a difference between 3/4 and 1/2 for the sides? Thanks
I just chose to use 3/4 because it’s easier to nail mitered corners, more glue surface and looks better in my opinion

The lightbulb link says they are 5 watt. Is this the one you are still using or are you getting a brighter one now?
@@janetbirkner6709 I’ve changed over to a brighter bulb. I think they are still 5 watt but it’s LED and equivalent to 15 watts
