Waiting until someone takes the shell of the 'setup flash drive' to hide a rubber ducky inside impersonate the pen test company, and get them to replace it with the 'new flashdrive'
Yeah, when I noticed the setup drive, I totally thought 1st gen ducky!
It doesn’t come with the setup drive I just got it. You just use any regular usb.
Makes me want to pull up old epsiodes in the hak5 house. Love seeing snubs and darren on camera together again.

Very cool to see what they keep doing with the Wi-Fi pineapple. I remember back in the day when it was literally a router jammed inside of a real pineapple. Wish I could find that original video somewhere because it's fun nostalgia to rewatch it, seems elusive these days though.

"Hak5 - Episode 401 - Wi-Fi Pineapples" is the title of the oldest one with pineapple in the name on hak5 from Oct 3, 2008. Not sure if that was the first one or not, but I know it is one of the earliest ones they did on the channel.
There are just over 100 videos older than that when you go to videos on the hak5 channel.
Glad to see it can do EAP attacks, that could be useful in a corporate environment.

Glad it's finally multi core, I've been using raspberry Pis with a few adapters in my rucksack for a little while now.
As cool as this is, I think it's a bit behind the curve. WiFi 6E is starting to be deployed more, which opens the 6ghz band. Based on what I'm hearing, this can't interface with that band. Hopefully a 6E revision is in the works.

Please make a RADIO PINEAPPLE for all sorts of attacks, Bluetooth Low Energy devices like Pacemakers and also Signal Recording and Replaying - all this could be included by adding an SDR like the HackRF One...
WiFi is great, but most tasks are completed on a laptop with a cheap 5Ghz dongle, or a few of them...

Aww, I was really thinking it came with the hak5 pineapple branded USB stick for setting up the wifi pineapple. Now I have to use a HP branded USB stick🤮A little bit disappointed but I will live. probably shouldn't have one in an unboxing when it doesn't come with it. Love it cant wait to use it.
Of course just a few weeks after I finally get a new pineapple and y'all go and release a new one

meh - the pineapple is just open source tools cobbled together - it can be improved and you really don't need one - make your own
This doesn't feel like a video for the regular audience. We want a spotlight on details, pictures, technical specs..... Things like how do those radios talk to the CPU?
You're right - it's for a corporate audience, not our regular hacker audience. As we get closer to the release date of the EDU variant we'll for sure be getting into a lot more tech details.

Is there a video on linux tools like nmap? is that what this is?
You can certainly run any form of nmap scan on the network once it's connected to it, even remotely via your C2 server. Or if you're feeling spicy build any number of opensource pentesting tools to vuln scan or even attack the network.
