This is why every group of operators, running below or above board, needs a dedicated computer/radio guy. This is just one of the myriad reasons, this is a full time job.
I like to add color filters using dBm as reference, and then make shades going from dark to light , etc, to give a graphical view of when youre getting closer to the device while still observing the packets
for instance: radiotap.dbm_antsignal == -52 (Dark red black letters) radiotap.dbm_antsignal == -50 (slightly lighter red) radiotap.dbm_antsignal == -48 (lighter red) radiotab.dbm_antsignal == -44 (lighter red bright green letters) | | | | | | radiotap.dbm_antsignal == -28 (Dark red, bright green letters) you might have to change letter color and inverse the color scale to achieve a full range, tried to show above
Nice reverse engineering (attempt)! When your the owner of the cams and placed them, why bother going through all the trouble? I guess unless of course you have so many that you've lost case of all of their exact locations? But of course that wouldn't be you, "Even Mosbæk"... Right???
Ethical hacking with the “sogy” camera. It is for medical purposes only. Just researching the length texture and colour of your stool. StoolOPS, preventing and detecting disease before it becomes “serious”.
I‘m already building my own little tool for the automated tracking of WiFi devices with their RSSI… Just like Wireshark, but with tshark and some matplotlib… Cool topic and I think there is much to do with it…
Thanks Alex I always look forward to your content. This one was cool.

Awesome, dude. Thanks for the content!
This is a great video! Thank you. 🙂
Yesss this is awesome! Thanks!
Great video Is this kind of operation possible using a microcontroller or pi zero to make it ultra portable?
This is the kind of thing that needs to be in a handheld device that is sold for less than 20$
Great bro
really cool..
Amazing
5:25 is your camera waterproof? it's a real submarine 😂
I did the same thing with a Pringles can and an Alfa wifi dongle
hey what laptop your using
Are there any good methods for tracking down hidden LTE or 5g connected devices?
Can you do this if they only give you Guest access in an AirBnb?
you dont need to authenticate to any network to scan the wifi signals
Im gonna start an airbnb and put cameras everywhere and see if anyone find them using wireshark :D
Please do a kali mobile version of this.
Is there a program that is more point and click this is very complicated
DDWRT bios on a router can achieve the same but not as filterable.
they might use VLAN, segmenting their IP camera and Guest network so you won't be able to pivot your scan to other subnet.
Cool way to do it but very time consuming compared to other methods.
How can I do this on an unrooted android phone?
If you want to do this for an air bnb...just unplug their router
Thank you!
Yes, but sometimes they're shared with the owners, or two seperate routers
Would imagine finding an raspberry pi running MotionEyeOs would be more difficult to find. Would be cool to know how to include those

What are the best schools to learn hacking in New York?
Pervcam, bahaha, great video, thank you for giving the parameters!!!

Hello fellow fellow :) What part of UK are you in?
@@----.__ Who says I‘m from UK?
This is one reason that all the cameras in my house are wired :-)

You need to work for the government on hacking.
Hi
W first
Or or buy a scanner for almost nothing
So...what if you're not tech savvy??? most of this information is overwhelming
music is annoying..
Ok dumb question, so to find the cameras you essential scan the wifi network for any signals?
Didn’t you do this already?
Music is distracting. Hard to focus on your voice as you change inflection.
what do you do if a neighbor spoofs the first 6 digits of your routers MAC to broadcast the SSID "FUCKOFF" ?
Next time without the music, even though it’s quite nice, please?
That background music is obscuring your message, could not finish the video. (Bummer). Good luck.
Eh only wifi camera, meh
I'm too later for tNice tutorials, I'll be back stoned...
Gives ä whole new meaning to än, IP camera...
