Same software as stated, but with more device storage, cloud storage, more antennas = more range/multitasking, more ports, licensing for enterprise, etc. Had the same thought initially. Extrapolating the reason for enterprise version.
Looks like the UI is made in vuetify, which I'm in love with!

You can kiss your previous version goodbye, they will absolutely stop supporting it right away and you will end up with a brick like I did with all the previous versions I have bought from hak5 .
That really sucks, i thought the Pineapple i bought on December leave up to date in future... A bad Move !
The MK7 software isn't compatible with the previous generation, however those devices will continue to see critical updates through their 5 year life-cycle.

Will there be a video on soldering the LED module in the Kismet case mod? The 4 debug pins are so close together that its super easy to short them even with a tiny amount of solder. I am shocked there is no tutorial on this

Well because it can't do more than that, as the previous versions wind up being just a glorified AP with a bunch of broken bells and whistles.

I understand a lot of this, however I just have a question.
Does this allow you to tap into Wi-Fi networks or do I have to already have a connection? I would like to use one of these for work, however it'd be nice to know I have Wi-Fi almost anywhere I go.

@Darren Kitchen I have just bought the Tetra one (mark VI) two weeks ago when it has been on the sale. I know, I should have waited to get this one, but anyway, I just want to know what the main differences between this and the Tetra are. Also, do you plan to make the Tetra accept the same software updates? Thank you. :)

Did you get the pineapple guide with it? Pretty sure they advertised a free guide/book with the purchase, which I never ended up getting..
You should return it right away and if you want go and get the new brick, both are useless anyways

Okay I know I'm going to get a bunch of people saying RTFM but I have and love my new pineapple... But I completely forgot my setup/login pass. I tried following all the docs I can find but can you please tell me how to do a proper factory reset without having it plugged into the computer (or a way to factory reset the password from a windows or kali box?) I tried flashing the firmware again over windows but got nothing but a red light.
Occasionally having a teal colored light show up.
I appreciate any advice or help, you guys are amazing

While looking up stuff on HackRF I came upon this,what is this exactly,what can ya do with it? it almost looks like a SDR (Software Defined Radio) lol.

I had the previous model and biggest gripe I had was that it just didn't have enough CPU power to fulfill its capabilities.
We did a lot to optimize the CPU in the MK7. For instance, the server is now custom - instead of relying on nginx & an interpreted language. We also now offload some heavy tasks to the browser. Between that and the 50% higher clock speed on a newer arch it's got plenty of headroom. The Enterprise, with its quad-core ARM, is a totally different ball game too.

Well, crap.. Ordered my Elite Field Kit just a month ago (still haven't received it because of customs... -_-) ...and now this beautiful thing!
Yeah I always wondered if customs backdoors electronics you buy and import into 5 eye counties or smthing. If they manage to catch them.
Can you please consider a video that focuses on monitoring? I don't have any interest in hacking per say but I am interested in potentially using this as a WiFi monitoring device. I am not really clear how this device can be used for that specific purpose. Thank you in advance!
