I would recommend a clear case for all the S23 Series phones it really brings out the beauty of the phones
I would recommend a shock proof case & tempered glass screen protector for all the S23 series phones. The phone is amazing so protect it properly
There's no reason to get a 14, either get a 13 pro or a s23
The ONLY logical reason anyone should ever get the 14 over the 13 Pro is if they have small hands and really prefer light phones, (170g vs 200g), but the S23 is even lighter so it's even better.
I have average hands size and I like light phones too simply because the big/heavy ones are a struggle to have in your pocket and it gets tiring if you hold the phone for too long especially at night.

I got my first iPhone last year because of reasons (after two defective S22+s) and I got so scared that I turned to iPhone. I got a 13 Pro. It’s.. really good to be honest, but I got some things bothering me. First off, it’s *HEAVY* really heavy! Is it worth its price tag? Doubtful. But everything just worked while the European version of the 2 S22+ I got, just gave me nonstop issues.

I really appreciate you comparing the S23 to the base 14 instead of the 200$ more expensive Pro like many other biased youtubers do just to make the iphone not look as bad.

Even the boring S22 looks way more interesting than outdated iphone.
Yes, iphone has better batttery life but it doesn't support multitasking and is quite closed, also charging the iphone takes a lot more time.
Okay, I'm contemplating switching to iPhone from Samsung S20+. Likely will wait for iPhone 15. I'm trying to decide between the pro and non pro model (going with the smaller size). Is the pro worth it overall? I think I might switch to just the 15. I'll miss having better zoom, but it looks like iPhone has a better camera anyways. Any thoughts would be helpful

Battery life will be equal on both phones.
Set the S23 to 60hz which is the iphone runs at. Also, please do not compare how long the phones stay at 100%. Apple lies about battery percentage
But for daily using S23 at the end of day stay 20-30%.

Battery life. I have a Samsung S21 Plus I am getting( 8 to 9) hours screen on time. Watching CZcams videos, at least a couple of movies a day, at least one hour of news. at least one hour of Frontline, listening to my music for at least a couple of hours my battery life on this Samsung phone is excellent totally outrageous😊. I love your videos keep doing what you doing
That is quite literally impossible. You're getting 6.5hrs max.

Exactly the phone I'm writing this with and I can say the same. I only have to charge overnight. I'm a heavy phone user and rely on my device hotspot to work on the go... I get a constant battery life of 8-9 hours which is amazing.
Let me mention that the latest Samsung updates have greatly improved the functionality of my device.
One this that you missed about Battery life is the charging speed. While the S23 may be about 10 minutes behind in battery life to the iPhone 14, I'll still take it over the 14 because of its fast charge.
I want my phone to charge fast after the battery drains. The iPhone 14 doesn't offer that. It's not even like the battery blows the S23's away that much. Some tests have even shown the S23's battery to come out on top.
The problem with fast charging is that it wears your battery way faster. That is why Apple does not offer it. And s23 charging ins not particularly fast. I task more than an hour from 0 to 100. Motorola has way faster charging, going from 0 to 100 in 40 minutes with its 68w charger. But you pay the price for that. There is no way out.

I am using both. iPhone has a much better battery. Atleast for 1.5 hours more. S23 also has more idle drain, while iphpne hardly has any. Also after using so many Samsung over years, it's certain that battery deterioration happens more rapidly, and I have noticed that with s23 since last 5 months.
@landoora6066 , idle drain on s23 is surely horrible, specially compared to my old Motorola with almost-stock Android. I try to mitigate deterioration by disabling fast charging, setting the maximum charging limit up to 85% and charging the phone when it reaches 30% of battery.
@@user-fb3iy1wh9v It's not really true that fast charging wears your battery way faster. Matter of fact, a better battery and charging system can even live longer with fast charging than a phone's battery without fast charging. The s23 charges WAY faster than a iPhone 13 FYI. You might looked at a none fast charging s23, since there are 2 adapters for it :)

Test with pool water also with sea water that the real challenge
Tested and regretted several times with Samsung. Samsung is able to hold in pool water but not at all with sea water. I trust iphone's ip68 way more.

That premium part is false actually, samsung offers higher specs overally and the materials used are closer to iPhone pro than the regular iphone. Not just the specs but s23 in general is closer to iphone 14 pro than 14

Both phones are amazing, but probably iPhone will last much more, due to Apple's long life software update support and less disruptive updates. On Android side, every big update is a roller coaster, and Samsung is not as good as Apple when we talk about software update support, even now with their 3 years big updates + 2 security updates. Is not hard to see Apple giving 7 years big updates support.
Samsung offer 4 years os and 1 year extra for security patch making it 5 years.

Any samsung device that comes in the line will definitely have some glitches and lags here and there after a while. Just because some features don't buy that sh#t piece of samsung if you do you're gonna regret it not now but just after a couple of months!
