"The soldier went in front of the officer!!!"
We all know the officer grabbed him as a meat shield!
That's what I thought lol
He must be like "No!, please don't kill me, *cries* ARGH!"
Yep
Yea true
Those are not british soldiers the are spanish conquistador soldiers
I love the fact that he keeps on trying to make it more realistic
I love how confused all the TABs characters look.
Lol same

Don't even bother, we all know who would win
That wouldn't be fare for the British
Who would win? One of the most well trained and powerful armies in history or a stabby boi?

Love how Apollo takes the time to teach history once in a while. Sure it's probably just to make the videos longer, but Apollo's little history tidbits are still fun to hear.
Actually you'd be surprised at how nice it is to teach others about history you know. He genuinely cares. Why are people teachers?
Actually the British navy cannons were very ineffective. That's why they bothered sending land troops at all. :)
And honestly it's a good argument as to wether it was even worth it. A phyric victory by all accounts.
@Kürassier1806 Your point is? The Americans destroyed the British at New Orleans, although 31 years later..

Yeah just watched another episode and I am still up and waiting
The second most officers lost for the British was The Battle of Freeman’s Farm when all of them were killed or wounded and all but one were killed or wounded in the first attack by Morgan’s rifleman
Edaug-ethanb YT Morgan freeman
Nathan Hull Freeman’s Farm is a place and Daniel Morgan was the American Commander
Morgan’s provisal rifle core?
3:07 Did anyone notice the shaking knees of the American commanding officer?
he needed the toilet really bad
”Dont fire until you see the white of thier eyes” Is a quote that is really simillar to the strategy that the swedish Caroleans used during the reign of Charles XI and Charles XII. They whould march up to the enemy line (almost always outnumbered) and then fire a devastating volley at close range. After the volley they whould make a bayonet charge into the heavily damaged enemy line. (They used the same quote for this strategy)
Ugglehjälm stubborn Protestants those were, RIP the HRE
HMH BOSS, Well the Caroleans where not former until after the 30 years wars, most famous in The Great Northen War 1700-1721, but yes they where stubborn protestants

Notice how almost every TABS CZcamsr just dumbs it down. Apollo speaks like a true Total War Player. Talking about Regiments, Army Comps, and Artillery. Genuinely someone with knowledge about the scenario. Spoken like a true nerd, and I salute you for that.
the Americans: You suffered more casualties!!
The Brittish and Historians: I'm about to do whats called a Pro Gamer Move.
Just wait until he finds out about the Stalingrad mod

@@RickBrode yes. With machine guns, spartans, and a whole load of other crap
@Kreschavier. Wow, ok, sounds interesting.
Fun fact for our non American friends, in relation to the battle taking place mostly on Breeds Hill. The reason it gained the name The Battle Of Bunker Hill is because though it was mostly fought on Breeds Hilly, the Continental officers had originally ordered for the defenses to be built on Bunker Hill, hence the name. Instead however, they eventually chose to build their defenses on the smaller Breeds Hill instead.
Additionally, the battle was fought for control of both hills. The British had ordered the capture of both Bunker and Breeds Hill, because they overlooked the city of Boston and would allow them to set up cannons on the hill, giving a major tactical advantage. The Continental forces, hearing of this, marched their own forces up the hill to try and stop the capture of Boston. Obviously however, the British were able to win, due to a combination of factors such as having the support of naval bombardments and simply having far more troops to spare.
However, it became a symbol of the Revolutionary War because even though the Continental forces technically lost, they put up a fierce fight, killing far more British soldiers and reducing the British victory to a pyrrhic one. So in the end, it became a bit of a rallying cry, because it proved that not only were the Americans serious about this, but that they could actually fight and that the battle of Lexington And Concord wasn't just a fluke.

This is just a video showing the power of the high ground.
no, it's showing the power of MERICA 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
You mean USA, I guess
@@labrat1298 no the high ground. Anakon lost because of it

Sounds like someone getting a little toxic. While we’re talking, *what happened to that empire?*
As far as I know, the Swedish name for the tactic of "not firing until you see yourself in your enemies eyes" was called "Gå På" meaning "go on"
Apollo Gustavus Adolphus was a really cool dude. He was a Swedish king/general who basically led Sweden to be at one of their finest eras in military strength. His most famous moment was in the 30 years war. The Protestants were losing in the first two phases of the war and it was looking great for the Catholics until Gustavus Adolphus came in and kicked their ass all the way back down south. Sadly he died in this war but when he and the Swedes joined it turned the tides of the war and along with France helping out in the fourth phase the HRE and their allies were defeated
TABS is so accurate that with the intro I thought it was a live action documentary.
I love how as soon as he plays TABS his vocabulary shortens down to OH MY GOD and OOOHOHOHO!
Let's all appreciate the fact that he teaches us something about history while being entertaining, funny, and overall cool
There’s something to be said for having the high ground
Dude dont know if you will see this but I LOVE these kinds of vids keep up the good work ❤❤
Battle of Waterloo:
Map: Simulation
Blue (France):
Two units of line (5x5), Old Guard in the back (5x3 of muskets, final line being of bomb throwers)
Artillery: Three Cannons
Cav: 1 Jouster
Red (Wellington + Blucher)
1 unit of line (10x2)
Artillery: 1 Cannon
Cav (Blucher): 7 jousters on the far left, away from the battle itself to simulate its late arrival
Pixie!!! Thank you for playing this battle! You totally should have played this on Rise of Liberty though!!!
I love these historical tabs videos you make
The morale of TABS units is peanut butter
You gave the Americans a head glitch peak at the top hahaha
Pixelated Apollo: And a nasty wave of fire right away
Me:AT THERE TEAM FRIENDLY FIRE welcome to tabs
Battle of Thermopylae
History writer: should we name this battle breeds hill
Every one in the conference room:no bunker hills sounds way cooler
I love how Apollo is funny strategic and teaches us history while playing video games
The intro music is epic! Great video apollo
Yay more tabs. Great video by the way
this was funny as hell
I love that in 11:24 the officer gets shot, then he and the shrapnel of the cannon ball kill a soldier in the back lines.
I love how you can make really cool and (totally) accurate battles in this absolutely silly game.
I love these!
The thing is that a lot of Americans are proud of bunker Hill but back then the Americans who fought in the battle where actually British because they where colonists from great Britain
It's incredibly rare, but if you're lucky, one of the troops will spawn as the size of an actual giant. Out of 65 hours of gameplay I've only seen it happen twice
3:06 We have a pirate captain representing as general.
Pirate Captain: SHUT UP, I don't deserve as the general.
You’ve been on fire. Your videos have been great lately
The reason they said "don't fire until you see the whites in their eye" is because the Americans where trying to save some ammos and the quote means "don't fire until they crossed the first line fo grass" .
Loved this vid-ps, try doing the Battle of Rouke’s Drift, where a few British regulars held out against many Zulu warriors!
In tears laughing. Most fun all day.
You're still doing Mount and Blade: Bannerlord Videos? I really enjoy them 😊 You'll win another Tournament you will see! 👍

I LOVE these videos. Short and entertaining. Keep them up! Can you do Gettysburg? Maybe Picket's Charge? Or how about Custer's Las Stand?

Is realy fun to see this battle in TABS. XD
Amazing
Great video
Keep it up with the tabs video
officer:*moves*
cannon: O BOI
What about the battle of Termopylae? I would love to see that!
PD: There are weapons hidden all over the maps, if you press F before the battle starts, you enter the freecam mode, so you can sneak around and find them! if you find those weapons, you will unlock secret units! they are really cool! Just don't search for them in the "simulation" maps, cuz there are none there lol
this is incredibly realistic
Muskets were so inaccurate, hence the phrase about the whites of the enemy's eye. I read actually about a different variant from the Battle of Lepanto in 1571. Muskets weren't invented yet back then so they were using arquebuses. And apparently, the standing order for the spanish and venetian arquebusiers was to "hold their fire until the blood splatter from the enemy would reach back to the shooter". So obviously that is pretty close range, but it stems from the even worse accuracy of the arquebus.
Make more TABS videos!! Love them!!
1:09 cannon hits his nuts and then musket hits his head.... painfull
Omg it’s epic
Me shows this to my super old Grampa. Grampa has flashback's
Beautiful
The reason why that order was given was the Americans were low on ammunition, and given the infamous inaccuracy of the musket, they had little choice but to conserve ammo and to make as many shots count as they could.
Yeah, I'm an expert in military history.
Hurrah for the Swedish king Gustavus Adolphus
Gustavus Adolphus is a fucking legend. hes essentially the father of modern militaries
Poor brits getting blasted from behind the hole time. They had no chance XD
The Americans retreated because of low ammo and supplies and gave it to the British who declared it a “victory “ even though they took more casualties
being honest I think that the America civi war was pretty much only taught in American schools extensively because it was the one time they declared war on their own and won, and have just been riding that high for pretty much their entire rest of their history and an independent country, but Englands like..."Yea, cool America."
ALRIGHT, SQUIRT...
Apollo, I would love to see the battle of Gettysburg! Such an epic struggle! Idk which day of the battle, tbh, maybe pickett's charge?
7:34 Carolus Rex: am i a joke to you?
I love how both generals are William
Plz do more Bannerlord. I love watching you actually enjoying yourself when you play it!
I’ve started watching you again because of TABS
I love it your channel pooping off !!
See the whites in their eyes, Caroleans are marching on! - Sabaton
The reason why the Americans aka the blues were so hard to destroy in this video is there placement because one regiment is on the top and all the reds ALL shot at the same time so each side has lost two regiments and the last two red regiment is reloading so the last two blue regiments move up unharmed and loaded so they shoot and the last two blue regiments are all dead
I luv ur vids
Nobody:
Apollo: okay so I’ve added a nuke to the British side to represent....
Apollo: Ooh looks like the British won!
1:58: Am I a joke to you? *unless the blue team is actually the British or I'm confused*
Damm, thought this was new bannerlord episode love that series
