Lord ha'mercy CZcams comments are the worst. You can't even just have some fun messing around in a pre-Alpha build of a war game that includes units with boxing gloves on their fists without people saying "omg why are you bad, do this this and this, please make other content".

Ballistas are not only more accurate than any other Artillery in TABS, (Totally Accurate Battle Simulator) but they are actually do AOE damage when firing and are 2x faster in reloading than cannons. Good Luck! God Bless You!
Poachers shoot in a line while archers shoot in an arc, so put poachers in front to reck lives. Love the video Apollo keep them coming!

In this game ballista are really good they explode on impact

Holy crap! I saw this game and thought "Man, Apollo would be hilarious in here!"
Two words for the best tactic: Peasant Swarm
EDIT: Ballistas are very good for clumped up troops, shields and enemy formations. Poachers basically have automatic assault rifles disguised as bows and arrows, also not as much friendly fire. Archers ark their shots, right into friendly troops, terrible rate of fire and accuracy. Both Archers and Poachers can pierce shields, but it takes a while. Catapults are shitty unless used in a line. Shields should be used with spears as a Phalanx or a Testudo, forgot which one, shields are effective for front line charging and ramming. Spearmen are good against short-range melee troops, farmers are the cheaper less effective version. Cannons are good but it is highly discouraged to put friendly troops infront of it, unless you don't mind friendly fire. This game brings a whole new meaning to "Military Genius" doesn't it.

It's funny to see that he didn't win most of the time regardless of his tight formation and tactics,but other youtubers just put random and disorganized rank and won most of the times XD

Apollo: You may find it useful to position the artillery on the side and not behind your own troups where it has to shoot through them.

Put your spearmen DIRECTLY behind your shields for best results and make sure when you use artillery that nothing is in front of them so it doesn't cause friendly fire :)

You should place your spears in front of your shields, because when your shield formation clashes with the enemy formation, your spears would stab them in the back.

Do lots of spreader out archers in the front with 1 ballista in the back and if you still have money place the shields right in from of archers. Tip: place ballista close to archers

Also, tighter formation is bad in this game (or atleast for what i've seen) because the AI usually gets stuck into eachother or drop their weapons due to being to close to one another
@apollo the cannon is what i think the best arti for catapults they can fire above our man heads but they cant hit close targets while cannon weakness is hitting everything in front of it
