People always talk about Harry’s suffering, but I think William suffered just as much if not more. He was old enough to understand the disintegration of his parents’ marriage, he consoled his mother crying on the bathroom floor, he had to deal with her very public death all while being the heir who could not act out or make any mistakes. He had to keep pushing forward and achieve the next milestone with no time to grieve. I’m actually so impressed with the man he’s become today, he is a very strong person ❤️

First of all, not a competition, and second, what you just described is precisely the reason it was extremely hard for Harry, because there is nothing worse than feeling alienated and not involved in the death of your own mother. Not getting to console your mother - much worse than consoling your mother. And if you never lost your mother, than just stop talking at all, like piss off

They always said William had quite a temper when he got older, BUT yet no one another’s to understand how that can form when so many years of anxiety goes unchecked. This poor boy grew up wayyy too fast, and way too much responsibility to bare, and often had a unhealthy relationship with his mother in terms of her codependency on him.

I didnt think I would but I remember when I lost my brother to suicide when I was 13-years old and it was the hardest thing I couldnt understand. He was 25-years old, was going to college, had a wonderful girlfriend and planned to work for Wall Street. That was his dream and it all ended on St. Patrick's Day, 2000. I think what I am saying is, like William and Harry I was too young to lose someone I truly cared about and loved and was too young to understand why it happened!!! It's easy to say that's life or that was out of my control, but I also had a father who was so tore apart by grief and thinking he failed as a Dad. I am the youngest of 4. Laurence was the third oldest. It was too much for the family to handle at the moment and I honestly remember how alienated I felt from the world!!! Season 6, Episode 1, Part 2 really hit home and I stepped out to have a smoke. You dont forget things like that!!! You dont forget suicides, no matter how old you get

Meanwhile harry was abusing his staff, and grew up learning he could get away with everything if he used his mother as an excuse. Now look at the result. He is a sociopath and always was, and diana was a manipulative tactic which was very easily used on charles and the queen, and more so the public and press media. Honestly, like many celebrities the royal family has to have media attention because it creates relevancy. For example, I have certain artists I like and singers but I don’t buy their merchandise and I don’t buy their CDs and I don’t buy concert tickets and I don’t pay for music I do free streaming on Spotify. Would an artist be able to make a living off of my support? The answer is no. Quite simply they would starve so hysteria and people who rampantly supported him are the reason he was so popular. But the family has an uphill battle now, because Harry and Megan are gearing up for what seems to be a bigger fight. With endgame coming out and Omid, revealing by accident that it was Charles and Kate, who made skin comments about baby Archie. it brings back all the fumbles of the royal family and racism and that’s a big thing because they can’t tackle it well they keep messing up. I mean they already lost the Caribbean and Barbados long ago. More countries want to leave the Commonwealth because it’s expensive to be in, and a waste of money. From a PR standpoint, it’s good not to talk because eventually, Harry and Megan will just run out of fuel and this is really the last thing they had. The last possible bullet in the chamber. If it sticks then the royal family won’t come back from it, but if it fades like the other scandals, and they’ve had worse for example. The queen mother, who was a horrible racist, putting her two disabled cousins in a horrible old folks home, and when they died, she didn’t even give them a tombstone, just an unmarked grave with a cross until people picked up on it, and crucified her in the press for it so she gave them a proper tombstone. And I mean, they never really escaped the ghost of Diana. so I don’t know where the royal family goes from here. From what I hear George is insufferable and telling people he’s going to be king someday. He’s literally in elementary school. I haven’t heard anything about Charlotte and Louis just seems like a kid reminds me a little bit of Harry when he was a kid. But yeah, it seems like they’re in for Rocky ride.

Looking back on this as an older gay man myself, I knew exactly where I was on the night that Diana died and just like any other teenage girl, I had a crush on both William and Harry, who at the time were very handsome and were heart-throbs - aside from other members of the royal family in the past going back to Queen Victoria or George IV’s time, I often wonder if by comparison the stakes for them are much higher than compared to back then and I wonder if the reputation and standing of the Monarchy is even more precarious today - it’s disappointing to see how Charles and William are reported to be committed globalists and are taking up these kinds of woke political ideologies to an even greater extent than Harry & Meghan - we know that from some of the reporting, the Queen Mother, Queen Mary & Prince Philip were accused of being racists compared to the Queen and were accused of being involved with questionable practices, a similar charge levelled at Queen Victoria, both with Disraeli and with other things towards the end of her reign - I often wonder if William came under certain undue influences at certain points to shape his political viewpoints towards the globalist agendas and towards wokeness via leftism

Facts; Harry wasn't even close to his mum. He had the sun in his eyes so had to squint but felt nothing, he says so himself. Meanwhile harry was abusing his staff, and grew up learning he could get away with everything if he used his mother as an excuse. Now look at the result. He is a sociopath and always was, and diana was a manipulative tactic which was very easily used on charles and the queen, and more so the public and press media. Harry manipulated them, and he couldn't stand it when people started to see through his lies.

      - Balding
      - Diana never got to this age so we'll never know what she would have looked like at age 40 in terms of aging.

Harry can smear his brother and his sister in law it'll never change the fact he will be king and can strip harrys HRH title and write a letters patent having parliament remove dukedome title and from line of succession if he so desires . William made a promise he will restore his mom's HRH Title & finally have full power to protect his wife and the direct line of succession of his children

    • @amyhpete
      @amyhpete Před 5 měsíci +4

I feel that with ten years to become acclimated to royal life and the deep sense of duty, that William and Catherine will not divorce. At most they’ll develop their own lives when their children are older.
Yet I would surmise from information publicly available that they do still love each other and want to be together.
My understanding is that some tension has arisen from the transfer of responsibility with Charles becoming monarch and William taking first in line.
With the departure of Prince Harry & Meghan, the forced retirement of Prince Andrew, the slowing down of the Kents and any of Queen Elizabeth’s cousins who are still around, and the fact that all of William’s cousins were raised to have their own careers and that they’d not be working royals-
the slack has fallen to William and Catherine, which does not conform to their plan to balance royal duties with family life-actually raising their children in a way neither Elizabeth and Philip nor Diana and Charles ever did-though each generation has improved over the last.
Unless William took a mistress and humiliated Catherine to the extent his father humiliated his mother, I think Catherine is there to stay. And I’m thinking in developing his relationship with Catherine, a woman he chose, not one the Firm sent over, for a decade, giving her plenty of chances to run away screaming before they married, that Catherine has accepted her life as it is, well, was supposed to be.
I believe the current situation-of so few working royals that William and Catherine are overloaded-will lead to a change in how Royal duties are done.
Princess Anne is already over capacity, Prince Edward and Sophie are already completing duties they had before as well as those of Prince Philip. Queen Camilla had already been given quite a few duties as Prince Charles began taking over some of The Queen’s responsibilities over the past decade plus.
After Lady Louise finishes at university, she could actually start taking some duties at least until George is old enough. Her brother has been given the Earl Wessex title, but he’s only 15 and by the time he’s done at university, George will be ready to start. Whether he would also perform duties at least until George and Charlotte are ready…
Because in that time, Charles, Camilla and Anne could all be gone.
I’m sure William sees this, wants to get himself and Catherine relieved of some of the work and travel they’d expected to share with Harry and Meghan, and may be looking at his UK cousins to step in.
Peter and Zara were raised with no titles and clearly told but to expect to be senior royals. However, they’d probably step right in and do very well.
With Beatrice and Eugenie establishing their families abroad, I’m guessing they won’t be called back.
