Camilla of all People was the one to speak against Kate as being appropriate for William to marry. She felt Kate wasn’t an aristocrat and therefore inappropriate for the Royal family.

Yes, she certainly is a vital asset to this royal family! It shows that PWilliam knew what he was doing when he took his time in preparing her for for the role she has now! Plus, their love is true and it shows! Enough said!
Love that William took 8 years to propose. He allowed her to learn about his family & lifestyle better so she understands what she was signing up for.
William and Kate's journey before marriage allowed them time to build a strong foundation, understanding each other's worlds and commitments. Their approach resonated with many who appreciate the importance of a thoughtful relationship.
They probably looked at the courtship of Prince Edward and Sophie, and learned how to get things right. The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh will celebrate their 25th-wedding anniversary in 2024, and I don't think there is any doubt that Kate and William will do the same in 2038!

The royal correspondent was sooo wrong and I doubt the late Princess Diana had made such a comment, on the contrary. This documentary is just so wrong.
I'm happy that everything went perfectly well and now Prince William and Princess Catherine are happily married with three beautiful children. They are wonderful parents with kind hearts and very hard working royals.

With respectfulness I agree that she has no royal blood and she would be great person if she refused to step in the story which belongs to born princess and live her authentic live without camera and applauses for posing without any occupation. So, her chromosomes tells us that she actually will be always common girl who just wanted to become a qween. I wish her luck.
I reckon that at the time it could be stated that "William & Catherine came from such different backgrounds" etc... However this standpoint should not be overly exaggerated. Her parents are millionaires all the same. Besides, she is evidently a very kind and "no nonsensical" person, and in addition to being beautiful she obtained brilliant university results as well. It is retrospectively not so astonishing that William could fall in love with her. The role of the see-through dress might well be quite overstated. All in all, the choice of Prince William has been proven right to the world. But he must have had a more informed mind than others at the time, such that his choice rather proves his discernment than anything else.
Absolutely, the backgrounds might differ in some aspects, but in essence, they're both individuals with their strengths and qualities. Kate's character and intelligence likely played a significant role in the connection they formed. Prince William said he would marry at 28, he had counted the yrs of training he had to finish, which made him 28. He was 28 so was Katherine when they married.

Diana started harry seeing a psychiatrist at 7y, his nanny had to attend school with him because harrys temper TANTRUMS became violent.. diana was afraid of harrys uncontrollable behavior... Look at interviews, she always trying to control harry as she spoke. She called off a bus ride because harry wouldn't behave... Older harry got hus tantrums worsen if diana didn't jump when harry said, harry would hurt her ..many times harry wouldn't talk to diana on phone because she didn't come running when he said... Harry was a horrible child..as a adult, PW kept him out of trouble most of the time...harry always had mental probs

Dianas dress was iconic for all the wrong reasons. The Dress wore her, rather than the other way round, and the lack of attention to detail meanst it looked unironed and crumpled.
No reoyal bride is going to wear a dress that plunges or is strapless - tacky.
Well, you got Catherine's route to the church wrong! She stayed the night before at the Goring Hotel and left from there for the short drive to Westminster Abbey along Victoria Street. They did go back to Buckingham Palace for the reception.
Richard Kay's opinion is pretty much worthless - he was one of the journalists that Diana colluded with to keep herself on the front pages and to stymie her husband's press coverage. Katie Nicholl is spot on - Catherine will make an exccellent queen because, to be frank, she is far better suited to the role than Diana ever was.
