William and Catherine were young adults that met at school. They became friends. Then very close friends. They took their time to really get to know one another over a period of quite some time, years in fact. Dated for quite some time. Got engaged and six months later married. There was a break up some where during the time of dating. These two were absolutely very sure of the love for one another. You can see this in them everytime they are filmed or photographed. True love story. Harry should have done that same thing that William did. Take time to get to know and be friends with the person first. Maybe if he had he would have seen what he was getting himself into!

I often wonder if he would have ended up with such a wonderful woman if W hadn’t gone thru what he did with his mom. W made a conscious effort to find someone grounded, kind and with a stable family of her own.
He did a wonderful job in helping her adapt and learn about royal duties. You can tell he really cares about her and wants her to succeed.

One of my favourite memories is of going to shop in Tesco’s (UK supermarket) in Holyhead, Anglesey a few months after they married and passing Catherine in one of the aisles, doing her own food shop. It was so lovely that they had some taste of a ‘normalish’ life before taking up full Royal duties. William was working for the RAF Mountain Rescue and she was given some time and space to settle into her new life.

British people know far well that Kate Middleton comes from " Middle class " background before becoming a royal. and she could wonderfully adapt to the royal life with their duties as we can see.
How do we know Kate is not suffering and is stuck in the Monarchy? She does not ever look happy, her smile never reaches her eyes, she has become much thinner than her early yrs. When she speaks it is seldom with passion and excitement. In fact she has a hard time speaking. Something seems not altogether right. Like Diana, Kate is in a top spot she cannot easily get out of. Kate was not treated as badly as Meghan, but she was not treated fairly either in early yrs. Diana had said later (as did Meghan and Harry recently) that they are TRAPPED. Takeaway...Don't marry into British Royalty, it doesn't end well.

I agree they built a strong foundation in the there relationship and grounded themselves in their first few years together as normal as possible. This was very significant because as we see now they have become full-time Royals and above all, as Diana ingrained in her boys just how important the role of Duty is. I'm absolutely thrilled Kate has taken her time in her future role as Queen and has done a remarkable job.
