    I prefer the elixir ultime, it absorbs better. I used my elixir original on my hair and wasn’t impressed but, on human hair extensions it works quite well for heat protection. A better product than elixir on my own hair for heat protection is Olaplex 6. It doesn’t weigh down the hair. I then use the Olaplex oil on the ends. Kerastase resistance oil works well on the ends at night and in winter when the weather is harsher and you don’t always want to completely cover your hair to protect from the elements. Br good to see you demo the products to support your assertions about how they work. Different types of hair need different products, so what might be brilliant on your hair may not be the best choice for a different hair type to yours.

    2 months ago, I ended up here, while doing some research about Kerastase and its Densifique line. Even though my pic shows short hair, it's quit long now (a bit more than shoulder length) and I was struggling with hair loss (not then, it was already controlled, after over a couple of years of intense fighting) and thinning (naturally thin hair, thinning) ... Kerastase is expensive in Brazil (like, more than usual, it seems) and I was reluctant, but after a few videos (yours included) I decided I should try it.
    I have come to realize that:
    1: Not really expensive? I used to spend around R$100 ($20) per month with shampoo + conditioner of a mid-range brand. Well, I paid R$330 ($67) for densifique shampoo + conditioner. It's been 2 months: I have spent 1/3 of the shampoo, and half of the conditioner. That means I have at least 2 more months before I need to buy a new conditioner (and perhaps another month after that till I need new shampoo). That means I would have spent R$ 400 ($80) with my previous brand within 4 months. So........
    2: It's worthy, and it works. I have to say that my hair, which used to be like a 2A (always wore it short, so, I can't really tell), now seems to be more like a 3A, and damn, it does make it "dense". In a way that you can't tell I was losing more hair than I ever had on my chest every single day (scary times).
    It's been so effective that I just want to try other Kerastase products (minutes ago I decided to buy the elixir ultimate l'huile).
    So, thanks for sharing your thoughts on the products. It was very useful!

    I love densifique line, it hydrates my hair like no other! Does the densifique mousse have heat protection? and is it leave in conditioner? I'm a bit confused how to use it and can I layer it with other products? 😊

    Can you review the Kerastase Densifique serum? I believe you can use it to blow dry, just like the oil you reviewed in this video.
    I took the plunge and purchased it, after finding Oleo relax was too heavy for me (I’ve used the rest of the Densifique range for a while, with great👌🏼 results).

    I have thin straig short hsir and my hair gets oily pretty fast, byt my scalp can get pretty dry and senditive if I use too harsh or cleans8ng shampoos, for example those for oily hair it absolutely strips my hair and keaves tangling and tight. As my hair is th8n and flat and gets oily fast, I would like to try a volumizing line, but I am not sure if it is gentle enough for the scalp? Also, does volumizing shampoo help with oiliness?

    I was wondering why the Fondant Densité Conditioner has Sodium Laureth Sulfate in the ingredient list, kind of unusual for a conditioner. Do you recommend the Kérastase Fondant Renforçateur Conditioner for weakened hair? Seems like it would be more hydrating. Thanks for the giveaway!

    • @Bekah_and_co_prohair
      @Bekah_and_co_prohair  Před 2 lety +2

      Yeah, it is kind of strange for a conditioner to have it in there. I'm not a scientist, but based on what I know about sodium laureth sulfate, it's used to help thicken the hair shaft. Yes absolutely! That conditioner is awesome. Especially if you have weakened hair.
