I know this is really late to comment haha, but im a hairdresser and kerastase has a salon exclusive treatment called the caviar treatment, which is the mask as a base with a highly concentrated blend of amino acids and moisture added into it. The caviar treatment is also the most nourishing and repairing treatment we have in my salon.

First mistake... don't put your finger inside the mask, you can damage the product. Use a plastic spoon for it. You used a LOT of product. Kerastase is super concentrate and have a lot of technology , so don't use so much. It is worth because as you don't need too much product and it can endure a long time. I use kerastase for more than 20 years and I never tried something like it. Other thing is, if they say 5 minutes, don't let 4 or 6 or 10... it is 5 min. More than that can damage your hair. Also make the whole difference to use the shampoo from them. It is good to use your brush to spread the mask all over your hair, then you will see you really don't need too much product. In the shower, after the shampoo, use a towel to remove the excede water and then apply the mask. I think your hair was too much dry, maybe that's why you used a lot of product. If you color your hair, or do highlights, than try therapist, it is just more than perfect. I also recommend you to try Magistral, the shampoo already make your hair feels like super soft, after the mask it is like a dream. I'm really sorry for my english, it is not my mother language, I'm still learning! All I wrote to you I learned in the years of using and use the product in the correct way, the way they explain made the whole difference. When I used wrong it already was amazing, but do in a correct way... was just wooooowwwww.... This will be my next mask, I didn't try it yet. Thanks fr your video.
@@katya72196 Hi, I absolute LOVE Chronologist, the smell is amazing and hair got perfect. My hair is more fine than yours for what you described. I took a look at kerastase website to check and for what they say it is a line for all types of hair, so... I think you can use. Also is good if you have a friend that love hair stuff to buy together, then you can share the product and pay half to try products when you don't know if it will be good or not. I also have frizz and volume on my hair and this line was just perfect. I'm not professional, I just do highlights and use products to make my hair straight , so.. I damage a lot and I study a lot of the products to not lose money and find the best for me. I cannot tell you to buy something. If you lived close to me I would give a little for you to try before you buy. Take a look at their website, read about the product in a trustful place, cause youtube people use it wrong like this video for example. I don't know if you damage your hair or not... So.. I think is better you take a professional advise before to buy and not waste money for something that will not be good for you, or you can write to kerastase and ask or... just take a risk and buy it. @@helenalovelock1030 I know it has been 1 year but I just got notification today from the other comment and saw you now. Kerastase Therapist is the BEST thing EVER for bleached hair. It really make your damage hair back to life. It is WONDERFUL! The best product I ever tried. But... I don't know your hair. so... if it is not too damage, use just sometimes,.. maybe even 1 time for month or every 2 months, because the product can damage your hair if it is not bad. If your hair is damage or really damage almost falling out, then you can use it between 15 days... 2 times per month. Don't use every week, maybe if you just bleach your hair you could use 1 time per week for 2 or 3 weeks... and then 15 to 15 days. I found out it help a lot to use before to bleach, like 1 day before and then after bleach. I also use tha morocanoil oil before to bleach, it help a lot to not damage too much.

I know and heard the whole line is perfect and also for Kerastase the shampoo is not just something to clean, it is also part of the process and will make the diference. I never tried because I also use other lines and I don't have money for all of that, so times in times I buy a different one to try the whole line. Also if your hair is really damage you can use Magistral from Kerastase, this one I tried shampoo, masque and cream after shower. The shampoo just make your hair really soft, the masque in a sequence is just the paradise. Therapist is Reconstruction and Magistral is nutritive. Both are good for what your hair need in a damage process. If your hair is not damage it will not be good, then there are other lines of reconstruction and Nutrition less power for your hair depend of the level of damage. For that is better you go to their website and ready more about each product to find out what is the best for you. My mother tried Magistral and her hair got heavy and hard.. impossible to brush, because her hair is health , no damage and natural. So... the product is perfect for the propose, for me is salvation because my hair is damage, for my mother was destruction because she didn't need. I see Kerastase as a wonderful medicine, if you are sick it will make you better, but if you are not and take, can become a poison.
I'm glad you did this review and you had positive things to say. I have used Kerastase for over 10 years and I love it so much. My hair is always healthy, soft and very shiny. I once saw an Instagram post by the Billionaire Heiress Tamara Ecclestone of her taking a bubble bath with her little daughter. Tamara has her own luxury hair line, Show Beauty and of course she was always posting with her products in full view as one would. However I immediately spotted one of my usual treatment containers on the edge of her tub, in an obvious position of ease to access BUT Tamara's products were purposefully staged at the front of the tub. 🤭 I could clearly tell that the bath was not staged with her baby girl because she had a bunch of toys in their tub and items weren't as neat as a photoshoot would've been but definitely she had an afterthought to bring in her products but it proved to me that Tamara's beautiful main was indeed the result of using Kerastase! I hate to admit it but I did DM her to let her know and the post was removed immediately. 🤫 ENJOY we are worth it!

I love Kerastase. I always had problems with my thin and short and fuzzy hair, but when I found Kerastase my world changed. In my opinion nothing compares. I bought Kronologiste oil, I use it very few times but when I do I feel luxury on my hair and in my mood. Good video
I have this hair mask and been using it since 5 months and I have noticed my hair being super smooth and flexible, I can literally feel the difference and my scalp has been feeling good as well. My hair reminds me of when I was 7 years old with the silkiness and flexibility and shine etc. Note: My hair is not colored, its fine and naturally straight. The only thing I ever get is split ends but not anymore since taking proper care plus this hair mask. I use it once a month!
THANK YOUUUUUUU I didn’t read the instructions and was using it like other kerastase masks. My hair got superrr smooth, bounce and voluminous after using it the right way. I know now i’m never switching to other masks 🫶

I have started using Olaplex and Kerastase products after watching your great reviews. 😬 I have thick layered hair which gets a little frizzy, not too much. Although I've tried blow drying my hair straight but can't seem to get the results you get SO EFFORTLESSLY! It would be so great if you could upload a video explaining how you get your straight hair by blow drying. And if the ceramic round brush really helps, because I have just ordered the same Olivia Garden Nanothermic brush that you use, hoping to make the whole process better for me! I don’t know if someone have already told you but there’s a better way to apply this mask, actually how this mask is so thick you apply first in your hair and after you finish then you massage the product into your scalp, I usually like to spray a little bit of water in the scalp before massage it, it helps the mask to “melt” into the scalp. And I have another suggestion, there’s a mask from Kerastase called “hydra apaisant” from the specific line, this line was made to treat the scalp and keep it healthy, this mask is amazing, it has a gel texture and it’s so much easier to apply directly on the scalp, then after you can pass it through the hair. I actually using this mask in my scalp almost everytime I wash my hair, then in the rest of the hair I apply any other mask and its REALLY making my scalp feels and look healthier and my hair is growing stronger, softer and shinier. It is very hydrated and works amazing in the hair as well, it’s a good purchase!

I was thinking of buying the Chronologiste (it’s $70 dollars now)! I wonder how the 2 compare since you tried both and I use the maskeratine discipline which I really love! You are right it is just to expensive and the ingredients are really not that good for the hair. I prefer the drugstore masks from Loreal the one with coconut and the dream lenghts mask did a much better job on moisturizing my hair then the expensive kerastase ones. (But as I told you I am currently in to more natural ingredients and I saw a big difference in my hair )
lovely video! Btw I have more hair than you and I use 1/4 of the quantity you use when i use kerastase masks and they work so well. This mask in Greece ( Europe) is around 35 euros- so much less expensive than in the US , probably cause we nearer France ( Kerastase hq) than you.thank you!

@@heidiguttenberg i dont follow the instuctions my lovely Heidi - i follow what is good for my hair and my wallet ( lol). a pea size maybe 2, for my mid- lenght medium thick, frizzy wavy hair is just fine. I use it from my ears and downwards... this amount applies for me only for kerastase masks ( esp. nutritive for thick hair - that i love). If i use a drugstore mask i need 1/6 of the jar ( lol)!!

In my experience not all Kerastase hair masks are created equal 😂 I’ve had hits and misses. the ones I’ve tried and liked they actually work more like makeup on my hair. I see instant results and then when I wash them my hair returns to almost normal. Although improving the quality of my haircare has improved the quality of my hair overall, I do see some long-lasting results. I also try so many bad products for my channel so some damage occurs due to that.

Elisabet Discipline is very good! Hair feels softer and smoother as I show on the video. But remember it is not a long lasting effect and cannont be used too frequently.

@@Maya-pq3zy The best kerastase Nutritive it is Magistral if your hair need a lot. My mother don't fucked up her hair like a do, and even that she used the mask and for her was the best thing she used in her whole life. I love therapist for reconstruction and definitely Magistral for nutrition. Nothing better than that! In my opinion and experience with kerastase, the shampoo make the whole difference too. Magistral shampoo already make your hair super soft, after the mask you feel like flying. I hope I could help you even your question was like.. 1 year ago.
Your voice is amazing. I haven't tried this but i usually rather go for natural hair care. The ingredient list is insane and not that great. Silicone puts a layer around your hair so i dont see it as great. Also i was always taught to not brush wet hair? Is it ok with a tangle teaser??
Thank you! Please, do suggest natural haircare brands/products. I have an open mind. I have found silicones safe, as long as I use a clarifying shampoo periodically. I was wondering and searching through your videos..have you tried the 'old' version of oleo-relax hair serum/fluid/oil? The one that comes in an orange bottle and belonged to the nutritive line. I love it and am so 😡 that they're discontinuing it. Had to stock up a few bottles. Do you stock up on products you love when brands discontinue them?
Lulu I also feel your pain, because I love the discontinued version of the oil relax fluid, in fact I love the Oleo Relax Mask and guess what? They discontinued it also, I had to buy 4 of them, each 500 ml. Kerastase loves to do this kind of thing, I have been through this with them more than 10 years, this is how long I have been using the brand on my hair. My super favorite was the Bain Satin 3, they discontinued it and the substitute today is the Bain Magistral which is no way like my dear Bain Satin 3. Anyhow, I have a good news for you... There's a new Oil Relax, the Oleo Relax Advanced, the texture is a little bit thicker than the discontinued one, and the smell it is stronger and lasts hours on my hair, plus it gives me amazing results as the older one. Check it out on Amazon or Ebay, one of them you are going to find it for sure, the only weird thing is that on the Kerastase websites the Oleo Relax Advanced isn't listed and I can't find it on my usual online shops either 🤷🏽♀️🤔🤷🏽♀️🤔

1st mistake: for a great absorption, you should use it on damp hair. But you applied it on (apparently) 50% wet hair, which was drying even more as you were speaking; 2nd mistake: you touched the tip of your hair dryer on your hair, and that should definitely be avoided if your goal is to keep it hydrated.
Hey, as for the first thing I think she applied it on mostly dry hair because that's what it said on the mask instructions, she said that "water is the first barrier and should be avoided, probably because the mask contains lots of oils". As for the second thing, I don't know, I think you're right but my hairdresser does it like that too :)

Tamara has her own luxury hair line, Show Beauty and of course she was always posting with her products in full view as one would. However I immediately spotted one of my usual treatment containers on the edge of her tub, in an obvious position of ease to access BUT Tamara's products were purposefully staged at the front of the tub. 🤭 I could clearly tell that the bath was not staged with her baby girl because she had a bunch of toys in their tub and items weren't as neat as a photoshoot would've been but definitely she had an afterthought to bring in her products but it proved to me that Tamara's beautiful main was indeed the result of using Kerastase! I hate to admit it but I did DM her to let her know and the post was removed immediately. 🤫

I love Kerastase. I always had problems with my thin and short and fuzzy hair, but when I found Kerastase my world changed. In my opinion nothing compares. I bought Kronologiste oil, I use it very few times but when I do I feel luxury on my hair and in my mood. Good video
I have this hair mask and been using it since 5 months and I have noticed my hair being super smooth and flexible, I can literally feel the difference and my scalp has been feeling good as well. My hair reminds me of when I was 7 years old with the silkiness and flexibility and shine etc. Note: My hair is not colored, its fine and naturally straight. The only thing I ever get is split ends but not anymore since taking proper care plus this hair mask. I use it once a month!

THANK YOUUUUUUU I didn’t read the instructions and was using it like other kerastase masks. My hair got superrr smooth, bounce and voluminous after using it the right way. I know now i’m never switching to other masks 🫶

I have thick layered hair which gets a little frizzy, not too much. Although I've tried blow drying my hair straight but can't seem to get the results you get SO EFFORTLESSLY!
It would be so great if you could upload a video explaining how you get your straight hair by blow drying. And if the ceramic round brush really helps, because I have just ordered the same Olivia Garden Nanothermic brush that you use, hoping to make the whole process better for me!

I don’t know if someone have already told you but there’s a better way to apply this mask, actually how this mask is so thick you apply first in your hair and after you finish then you massage the product into your scalp, I usually like to spray a little bit of water in the scalp before massage it, it helps the mask to “melt” into the scalp. And I have another suggestion, there’s a mask from Kerastase called “hydra apaisant” from the specific line, this line was made to treat the scalp and keep it healthy, this mask is amazing, it has a gel texture and it’s so much easier to apply directly on the scalp, then after you can pass it through the hair. I actually using this mask in my scalp almost everytime I wash my hair, then in the rest of the hair I apply any other mask and its REALLY making my scalp feels and look healthier and my hair is growing stronger, softer and shinier. It is very hydrated and works amazing in the hair as well, it’s a good purchase!

You are right it is just to expensive and the ingredients are really not that good for the hair. I prefer the drugstore masks from Loreal the one with coconut and the dream lenghts mask did a much better job on moisturizing my hair then the expensive kerastase ones. (But as I told you I am currently in to more natural ingredients and I saw a big difference in my hair )

a pea size maybe 2, for my mid- lenght medium thick, frizzy wavy hair is just fine. I use it from my ears and downwards...
this amount applies for me only for kerastase masks ( esp. nutritive for thick hair - that i love). If i use a drugstore mask i need 1/6 of the jar ( lol)!!

In my experience not all Kerastase hair masks are created equal 😂 I’ve had hits and misses. the ones I’ve tried and liked they actually work more like makeup on my hair. I see instant results and then when I wash them my hair returns to almost normal. Although improving the quality of my haircare has improved the quality of my hair overall, I do see some long-lasting results. I also try so many bad products for my channel so some damage occurs due to that.

Elisabet Discipline is very good! Hair feels softer and smoother as I show on the video. But remember it is not a long lasting effect and cannont be used too frequently.

@@Maya-pq3zy The best kerastase Nutritive it is Magistral if your hair need a lot. My mother don't fucked up her hair like a do, and even that she used the mask and for her was the best thing she used in her whole life. I love therapist for reconstruction and definitely Magistral for nutrition. Nothing better than that! In my opinion and experience with kerastase, the shampoo make the whole difference too. Magistral shampoo already make your hair super soft, after the mask you feel like flying. I hope I could help you even your question was like.. 1 year ago.
Your voice is amazing. I haven't tried this but i usually rather go for natural hair care. The ingredient list is insane and not that great. Silicone puts a layer around your hair so i dont see it as great. Also i was always taught to not brush wet hair? Is it ok with a tangle teaser??
Thank you! Please, do suggest natural haircare brands/products. I have an open mind. I have found silicones safe, as long as I use a clarifying shampoo periodically. But, to each its own. 💯 respect for everyone’s uniqueness. I only do that with a tangle teezer. Hope I answered all your questions and thank you for being here.

I was wondering and searching through your videos..have you tried the 'old' version of oleo-relax hair serum/fluid/oil? The one that comes in an orange bottle and belonged to the nutritive line. I love it and am so 😡 that they're discontinuing it. Had to stock up a few bottles. Do you stock up on products you love when brands discontinue them?
No I haven’t ! But I have had a few faves discontinued so I totally feel your pain. Stocking up is the way to go!

I also feel your pain, because I love the discontinued version of the oil relax fluid, in fact I love the Oleo Relax Mask and guess what? They discontinued it also, I had to buy 4 of them, each 500 ml. Kerastase loves to do this kind of thing, I have been through this with them more than 10 years, this is how long I have been using the brand on my hair. My super favorite was the Bain Satin 3, they discontinued it and the substitute today is the Bain Magistral which is no way like my dear Bain Satin 3. Anyhow, I have a good news for you... There's a new Oil Relax, the Oleo Relax Advanced, the texture is a little bit thicker than the discontinued one, and the smell it is stronger and lasts hours on my hair, plus it gives me amazing results as the older one. Check it out on Amazon or Ebay, one of them you are going to find it for sure, the only weird thing is that on the Kerastase websites the Oleo Relax Advanced isn't listed and I can't find it on my usual online shops either 🤷🏽♀️🤔🤷🏽♀️🤔

1st mistake: for a great absorption, you should use it on damp hair. But you applied it on (apparently) 50% wet hair, which was drying even more as you were speaking;
2nd mistake: you touched the tip of your hair dryer on your hair, and that should definitely be avoided if your goal is to keep it hydrated.
Hey, as for the first thing I think she applied it on mostly dry hair because that's what it said on the mask instructions, she said that "water is the first barrier and should be avoided, probably because the mask contains lots of oils". As for the second thing, I don't know, I think you're right but my hairdresser does it like that too :)
