    I also have thin hair and have grown to love the Olaplex oil especially as my prep before I flat iron. OMG, total game changer. My hair looks so sleek and shiny. It’s clean, a heat protector, plus UV protection.

    🤣 when I brush my hair it becomes a puff of frizz more often than not. My hair looks nice if I spend $200 in a a keratin treatment every 2 months, and if i dont i just have to put it up in a bun or ponytail. I'll try what you are doing and see if it works for me. If not at least itll smell nice 🙂

      Ahh I see! If I can recommend 2 specific products. Try Kerastase therapiste shampoo and mask. Use the mask as a conditioner but apply it BEFORE you shampoo. For example, I will apply the mask to my hair and do something else for 10 mins and then hop in the shower and then wash out and use the therapiste shampoo. You can use the mask again as conditioner but only apply a small amount. This way I've had the least amount of frizz. I love these products for when I have dry and frizzy hair. Offcourse finishing off with an oil will also help manage frizz. You can try the heavier oil like kerastase elixir ultime or something similar. These are pretty expensive products but still cheaper than keratin treatment so something to try😘

    I've been using the Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine oil for many years now....smells awesome and helps those new baby hair flyaways. The Fekkai original Glossing cream is bomb too, although I haven't tried the new revamped version so can't give feedback on that one.

      I hvnt tried Garnier in a while now, I used to use them a lot in high school and then just got sick of the scent haha I wanted to try the glossing cream a few years back but then consequently forgot about it. I will add this to my list thanks!

    Thank you so much for this video. In all your videos im mesmerised by how glossy, shiny and healthy your hair is. Im def going to try some of your recommendations. Im 43 and my hair has def changed from straight/smooth to more frizzy & dry and i try to be very careful with my hair. Im even going to purchase a Silk pillowcase too. Do you mind me asking how old you are? And do you feel your hair has changed the older you get? Thank you xx

    • @RashiRamalho
      @RashiRamalho  Před 3 lety +1

      I'm 32 and no I don't think my hair has changed yet but I do tend to experience more hair loss with stress that didn't used to happen before. With your hair being more dry and frizzy now, I definitely recommend using a hair mask as conditioner and a finishing oil after styling. I've been using a silk pillowcase btw and itz great, really helps with frizz.

  • @alivenisiddareddygari1510

    Thank you rashi for the video.I was waiting for this, I have tried three brands from this Ogx,Olaplex, briogeo unfortunately the last two brands they didn't work for me, it did so much damage to my hair I throw them in dustbin and I hate those two brands. Ogx was little better than other two brands but it was drying too. I will try kerastase shampoo and I will check my luck. I have tried bunch of different shampooes from high end to drugstore but nothing worked for me and all they were doing is drying my hair. Now I'm in a frustrated stage with shampooes.The sulfate free shampooes are worst ones all they do is they will change hair like a hey. Ya I want another video to, thanks in advance. Anyway your reviews are very honest on everything. You are the first one I believe you tubers that I follow.I am lucky I found your channel. Keep up the good work and thanks again.

      I'm so glad that I didn't get into the Olaplax hype....I also Verb Ghost shampoo and conditioner. I just picked up OGX Biotin and collagen shampoo because my hair has starting to fall a lot. Haven't tried it yet...I've been trying this herb ( Bhringraj powder) into my tea for the past 2 weeks. I did some research about it...there is an oil option but I decided to go the oral ingestion way.

    • @RashiRamalho
      @RashiRamalho  Před 3 lety

      I'm surprised to hear these brands are drying out your hair. What is your hair type? Is it colored? If it is, how often do you colour? How often do you wash your hair? How much heat styling do you do a week? Do you use conditioner after every wash and then use an oil afterwards for the lengths of your hair? Think about your diet too, increasing water, vege and fruit intake can make a big difference. Also consider if you are on any regular medications, sometimes dry hair can be a side effect of those and hormone imbalances can also be an issue. If you are concerned I would definitely visit a medical practitioner just so you can at least rule some things out.

    • @RashiRamalho
      @RashiRamalho  Před 3 lety

      Btw a tip for dry hair is to put oil on your dry areas before you shampoo. This protects the dry lengths from being stripped by the shampoo. Don't use too much tho as you still want a cleanse. Also for dry hair, my fav Kerastase line is the Resistance. You only need 2 products from this line, one is bain therapiste which is a creamy shampoo and then the mask therapiste to use as a conditioner. This has saved my hair multiple times when I had very dry hair.

      @@RashiRamalho I think hormones and stress are contributing to my hair fall. I saw my doctor about it last year, he prescribed me a topical steroid. Since I'm home, I don't wash my hair often unless I'm going out for groceries. If I use any oils, after about 3 days, it weighs down my hair to the point of discomfort so I wash it out. I keep my hair in a braid at all times too.

    • @RashiRamalho
      @RashiRamalho  Před 3 lety

      Yeah I didn't like olaplex shampoo and conditioner, way too heavy for my hair type but definitely enjoy the styling cream the most. Let me know how the powder form works out for you. I've heard good things but hvnt tried it. When I went through my hair fall stages I just focused on lowering my stress levels and eating very healthy with lots of veges, fruits and water. That fixed the problem for me and hair stopped falling. I really hope you find your solution too!

    Is there any difference apart from fragrance between kerastase chronologiste and ultime elixir?

    • @RashiRamalho
      @RashiRamalho  Před 3 lety

      Ultime elixir is a heat protectant while chronoligiste is a finishing oil. UE is also a bit of a heavier oil than Chronologiste which is more light weight.
