You should be more cautious with what pre-wash treatments you use, and what shampoos you use, as it affects the end result. You should combine this type of masks with a strong protein shampoo, like Kerastase Force Architecte. Also I am not sure if you are using any heat protection, but I would suggest you try the Nectar termite or the Extencioniste thermique (both Kerastase), which are great heat protectors and at the same time treat the hair and add a beautiful finishing touch. I cannot agree that you can only judge the stand alone mask without incorporating the whole hair routine products you use, as usually you combine more than a shampoo and mask together, you use volumizers, heat protection, finishing oils etc.

I love Kérastase products but definitely it wasn’t one of the best mask I’ve tried. It was good to see that someone else have the same impression. We have of course other good products cheaper that give us better results

Heidi thank you! 💖 well, I have very fine, bleached, straight hair. My biggest concern is breakage and a little bit of frizz. I love oils but sometimes they can be heavy when it comes to fine hair, but this mask is absolutely perfect for me. Whenever I need my hair to be gorgeous, I run to this beauty 😅

I am using Kerastase Discipline line + the Cure Apaisante serum. As I was suffering from itchy scalp, hair fall, increasing frizzed and dryness. I tried Loreal, Body shop, khadi before this. My experience - Kerastas has only made my hair bad. My itching didn't go away really. My natural shine is gone. Zero impact on hairfall. I am an Indian and have almost black, thin, straight but slightly wavey at ends hair with dry scalp.
I spent a lot on this product but not really happy, planning to give it some more time. If everything fails I will look for answers in the ancestral roots, i.e., gooseberry, shikakai, banana and all.
I spent the last two days binging your videos!! I love how you provide honest and truthful opinions about these products esp bc they are so pricey! Have you tried the elixir ultime oil (the $50 one), i'm curious to see how that works because it is so loved by so many people

I don’t recommend put the hand inside mask after touch the hair .. I prefer take the amount I need and after don’t touch the mask .. or at least wash hand before

In kerastase, I have 3 favorites that WILL WOW (from best to worse): 1.orange line called MAGISTRAL for super moisture 2.green line called ARCHITECT for discipline 3.red like called CHROMATIC for retaining color

@@heidiguttenberg From what I heard about it yes, specially the color and the texture, the one I have here(first formulation) it's very similar to the Mythic Oil, golden, sparkly and on the thicker side. The packing it's not white but golden, and it's says for all hair types, I guess the one you reviewed doesn't. You have the new version, a friend of mine said that the formulation is much better than the previous one. I am willing to buy this new formulation, plus the conditioner from the same line, I aways conditioner my hair after rinsing the masks. Anyhow, your hair looks amazing with everything, I guess if you wash it out with rain water it will be still looking stunning 🤭🧜🏼♀️

Who knows...I,love my retirement life in paradise but one of the problems is ordering delivery here. Sometimes it works, other times not. I do have a US shipper who receives and forwards to me bec Amazon does not deliver Olapplex or any hair colors here. I want to order the large salon size of Olaplex 1 and 2 on Amazon but the cost plus customs plus foreign delivery and the RISK of losing all that and being frustrated keeps me from doing that. You MUST try joico's moisture recovery, it is literally the most heavy oil based hair mask I ever tried. The discipline's curl ideal is also pretty good, I would say it is even better than the maskeratin

I like the elixir ultime oleo complex a lot. The box is copper. The shine it gives is incredible. It is much heavier than this one.

Estaba comparando tu pelo con el video de Elvive Coconut Oil y en verdad que al menos la proyección de la imagen por video, se te ve mejor resultado con esa máscara que con esta de Kerastase! impresionante!

I have just discovered your channel as I have not had much luck with my conditioner and want to start trying masks especially the kerastase ones.
I have ordered this mask as I love the smell of the elixir oil. Will see how it goes and if its not great my next buy will be chronologiste mask for sure.

I have tangled hair which is frizzy and thick but not overdried. Would this mask be good for it?

I think this mask is more for a thin hair. Kerastase discipline is better for a thick hair.
Do you use this everyday or once a week??
Silicones are not bad though?
New ones soluble ones in correct formulations are apparently ok and may be good for certain hair types.
This is my experience with this Elixir Ultimate mask: it doesn't do much for my frizz, it leaves my hair a less shinny than other masks (for example: Masquintense, Résistance or L'Oreal Mythic Oil), but very soft. I did not notice a major advantage after blowing up with a hairdryer and a round brush. So having said this, I totally agree with your review! However, I think that the Elixir Ultime oil is a keeper.

Por otro lado me gustaría que pudieras decirme cual de todos los tratamientos para el cabello que has probado te prporcionan brillo, suavidad, y quitan el frizz recomendarías tú. Sinceramente olaplex se me hizo bueno, pero no para lo que cuesta, creo que hay mejores, y esas opciones son las que busco, se que un buen tratamiento es costoso, pero lo que me interesa es ver realmente resultados.

Claro es que Olaplex tiene su propia categoría. No es una máscara hidratante. Tengo un video de las mejores mascaras de 2019 y los mejores productos para frizz. Son los últimos en este canal. Los vas a encontrar fácil.

Holy Shizit! That's a high price to pay for a so--so mask!! I have also tried other masks and shampoos And conditioners from Kerastase!! I was not the least bit impressed!! I wish I would have known you were going to buy this mask for $62 because I would have told you to keep your coins in your wallet instead. Thank you for making others aware of the product's results!!

Melissa Quezada but you’re only meant to use a hazel but amount on your hair not half the tub as demonstrated in this video because too much weighs the hair down and causes frizz so it would actually last a long time
