9" Ford - The Complete Rear End: Access Holes - CAUTION! Do I need this hole in my axle shafts?

In this video, Redbird Speed discusses the necessity and convenience of the access hole being drilled in the face of the axle. In many disc brake application there are internal parking brake mechanisms where you need this hole to get the socket and extension through the axle in order to secure the nuts on the T-bolts. In a drum brake application, this access hole may not be necessary, BUT it's very convenient. In our opinion, this is money well spent.
