  • Welcome back to the PerformHappy podcast! Today I have the absolute pleasure of interviewing Sage Kellerman. Sage is a sophomore at Michigan State University and an exceptional gymnast who recently achieved a perfect 10 on vault. But beyond her incredible athletic accomplishments, Sage's journey is one of resilience, growth, and finding gratitude in the face of adversity.
In this episode, Sage opens up about her personal experiences with loss and how she's managed to navigate through grief. Her story is a testament to the strength and courage it takes to keep moving forward, even when the path is filled with challenges. Sage’s ability to find light in dark times is truly inspiring.
We also dive into the topic of impostor syndrome-a feeling that many athletes are all too familiar with. Sage shares her own struggles with self-doubt and how she has learned to embrace her talents and grow into her competence as an athlete. Her insights are not only valuable for fellow gymnasts but for anyone striving to reach their full potential.
What stands out the most about Sage is her unwavering positivity and kindness. She is a bright light who brings joy to those around her, and her story will undoubtedly resonate with you. This episode is a powerful reminder that even in our hardest moments, there is always something to be grateful for.
I hope you find as much inspiration in Sage's story as I did.
