- It turns out that the opposite of “California Dreamin’” is “Californication.” Apparently The Red Hot Chili Peppers had a very different experience in California than The Mamas & The Papas ✌️

“Californication” (Red Hot Chili Peppers) California Dreamin’ Mashup Cover by Robyn Adele Anderson
All my videos are done live, using one take. - Hudba
this mashup is a delightful trick of the ears because they're woven together SO smoothly
Kept expecting that suspension to go full blown into California dreaming....nice effect. Great arrangement and performance.
This sounds so natural
Californication dreamin' by the Red Hot Mamas and Papas ! Very good !
Really wasn't sure how this would work...
SPOLIER: It works seamlessly! You've done it again, Robyn. 🤩
so chilled out, great to listen to with a BBQ and a couple of beers out the garden with friends
Two of my my favourite bands combined?! Talk about a treat for the ears! 😍💖
Lady Robyn with your so perfect/beautiful voice and, of course, your amazing band makes every song become in a true masterpiece! 👏♥
To anyone who has heard both of these songs many times, this was amazing!
Looking and sounding fantastic as always! Your King Cat Family loves and is immeasurably proud of you! Keep up the amazing work!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I was waiting for this mashup since I first have mistaken those two songs :)
Thank you Robyn and the gang!
This was very clever, I'd love to see you do MORE of these.
Um yeaaah, most stylish classy rendition of this classic making yall so iconic!
Great mash up, by you and the whole band.
Beautiful and awesome song performance as always. Very creative idea, and the overall 60s aesthetic as a nod to "California Dreaming" was a clever touch. I love the mid-60s vibe of your outfit, too with the miniskirt + long sleeved shirt, I think that's the first time I've seen you wear something like that. It's a good look for you!
Toujours aussi agréable à écouter les reprises que vous chantez . Merci pour votre voix jazzgirl et l’éclectisme que vous nous partagez 👍
Excellent arrangement, very groovy and fun to pick out elements when listening to it. Another winner!
I became acquainted with your work only yesterday. but I am already in love with your covers deeply and for a long time. I wish you that your success will not end. With God's help I wish your covers to be eternal
Have had the TV series in my que for the longest, still haven't gotten around to watching it. Wow, Robyn, this arrangement is just brilliant. And you nail it. No surprise there!
Very nice! Thank you Robyn. I hope to see you live one day.
My favorite thing about her endplates is that they always remind me she's just a normal human-being. Her speaking voice has never changed, and every time I hear it is nice, but also makes me love how she transforms when standing on business. Thank you for another awesome one.
Wow! Its wonderful!
Love this!
Great mashup! Thanks 👏❤
Tak, to je perfektno!
As a So Cal native, I approve of this video! ;^D Love it, Robyn - thanks!
That was a MUCH groovier version than the Chili Peppers version! Very creative arrangement, loved it!
Thank you guys, brilliant as always.
I love both songs, especially because I live in Kalifornia.
QUE CHIDA QUEDO LA ROLA TE AMO ROBYN ADELE ANDERSON!!!
🍁🍂 All the leaves are brown...but Robyn is 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️⭐ the four seasons😄.
don't know which version i like more this one or the original either way I am enjoying both
Excellent !
Her voice has gotten so much more powerful since the days of "Call Me Maybe" with PMJ
Very impressive rendition of Californication by Robyn Adele Anderson. Once again, Robyn sings wonderfully with plenty of heart and soul. I also love how the band makes this version equally melodic and haunting as the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ original version. Great chemistry and interplay by everyone. 👍👍
Masterpiece
Great interpretion. First impression was, this would be great for a soundtrack for something like a Tarantino movie. Also, evoked "Valley of the Dolls" for some reason (the lyrics, a bit of the swinging sixties kind of vibe there?).
Sounds amazing!
This is great
Exceptional, thank you.
Superbly done ♠️🔥💎🖤
As a big RHCP fan, I believe that this mashup perfectly captured the song and gave it a new feel as well, it managed to cover it perfectly
Самый оригинальный кавер! Браво!
Прекрасный слух, прослушал 3 раза. Четкое пападание в тональность, аранжировка на высоте! Побольше песен в таком стиле!
🔥💐💐💐💐💐🔥
Perfect cover🎉
This is wonderful.
This is absolutely superb work
Well done!!!
Nice cover of 2 great classic’s.
Cool version’s 👍
The description says that this song is the opposite of California Dreamin. You know what that means! The next cover has to be California Dreamin! Your voice sounds great with the guitar, I love it!
🔥🔥🔥
Please do a cover of this with California dreaming. The cord progression is so similar both are popular songs and it would fit so well
😍
Que versão incrível!
Good version, thanks!
Great cover. But I still love to zoom in on her knees and watch those little faces sing. Soo cute.
Babylon ! I am impressed!
❤
👍👌👏❤
wow, great
Canta muy bonito siempre srta Róbinson y aunque nunca me dice gracias la quiero mucho ❤
Wonderful version!
Shared on the Minds network (JohnG76).
Wow, this is really good!
Как же обалденно !!!!
Wow! I hate mashups, I think each piece should be a complete work with no interruptions and not changing its theme, but this combo worked so nice and smooth together, I am impressed.
Wonderful.
Exquisite beauty captured perfectly
Saludos desde Venezuela! Me encanta está genial ❤️🔥

hey robyn are going to come to turkey in september with pmj?
impressive!
❤👍
Awesome stuff! Would really love to hear how you'd do their ''Dosed''. It would give more space to show your vocal
Very Good
So capable, creative, determined, dedicated, intelligent, talented, and hot. A woman to die for!! 👍👍👍
Greetings to all fans. Are you ready? to enjoy listening & seeing that pretty woman from Albany.
Lindo como de costume ❤🤩👍👏👏👏👏👏👏
Wonderful! Stupid question - on such a mashup, do you need to pay copyright for both songs? Or is the mashup considered artistically an independent work? Whatever, it was wonderful and really showcased your vocal talents. Thank you for sharing.
They should pay the original artist for their writing👍
A little trombone solo would've been epic here.
Excellent!! On this one you can make out all the lyrics cuz RAA can sing
Nice
Nicely done! Do another RHCP song called Sick Love mashed with Elton John Benny and the Jets. I’ve been calling for that for years but…
I’m sure you get a billion suggestions, but in case you take any and see this, a song crying out for a genre swap like this is “Fighting with Myself” by The Poem Adept. It’s like a folk style originally I think.
More RHCP and SOAD PLEASE MA'AM
I WANT MORE CALIFORNIA :)
Robyn!! You're the bestest!! I dream of sitting front row listening to you in a night club on a Tuesday evening... in 1940.....
🤘💞💞💞🥰
You get more beautiful every day.❤
Still good
👍💘💋🥂
I sounds like a lounge singer Ina cheap bar in the 70's.
