To anyone asking if this is compatible with PS4/Xbox the simple answer is, it’s a usb keyboard. It won’t be any more or less compatible than any USB keyboard would be with these systems.
If what you mean to ask is more along the lines of “will this trick my PS4/Xbox into thinking I’m using a controller so I can play games with a keyboard that I normally can’t” then the answer is gonna be no.

nate klan oh sorry I’m not sure. The one provided to me was not the Bluetooth version so I have no idea but the manual should have some kind of instructions

Was recently looking at this keyboard on amazon and youtube started recommending me videos, including yours. I am getting the non-optical version but this video was exactly what I needed. A review from someone who's just starting to dip their toe in. This will be my first board with swappable, programmable keys. And you also got a couple snorts of laughter out of me. Subbed.

Seems like an amazing keyboard for the price, just spend about $30 for some nice pbt keycaps and you have got a really nice board for under $80
event tho its abs keycaps i can switch the keycaps to pbt?

I found this video because I've been specifically looking into the GK61 and what a coincidence it was just uploaded two days ago! I like hearing reviews from people who are not way advanced in the keyboard enthusiast scene because I am a beginner. I'm seriously considering buying this board and modding the switches with springs that better suit my heavy-handed typing style (maybe 80g or so). My Cherry MX Browns seem too light at times, and I'm not all that impressed with Cherry switches anyway. I'll be keeping my eye on this video to check out the affiliate link when the discount is active on the 16th!

The weight of Gateron switches are pretty much the same but the greens are the heaviest
just spent 65 USD on the speed silver version and it is incredible for gaming... way faster and smoother than the cherry speeds for 65...incredible would recommend

Thanks for recommending my next keyboard. It is really good, although I did not get the optical switches, I want CUSTOMIZATION!!! It works great, but I needed to drill holes in the switches to let more light through, worked like a charm. BUT THE DAMN MICROPHONE BLOCKS THE STABILIZER WIRE SO IT IS REALLY HARD TO TAKE OUT!!!!!!!

Hey 👋🏻, which do you think is better, the redragon k589 or this one? BTW both videos were very informative so i’m looking for a concluding decision.
i sprung for the GK61 metal version and my goodness. This thing is heavier than a ducky mecha mini and year of the dragon TKL put together. I put in some Kailh box jades with some puddin keycaps. Pretty juicy right now. No pinging from the board, and the RGBs decent, cant figure out how to change the single color variation to another single color..but I'm clicking away like a mad man and these feel sooo much better than any cherry switch i currently own, albeit a tad heavier than I'd prefer.

Holy shit, I have had this keyboard for about 3 months now and I never knew that LED preset used a microphone, I would just press the keys and thought it was a DJ like reaction and didn’t realize it was using the microphone

You should check out the SK61. It has PBT keycaps, the same switches and better rgb. I’ve been thinking about buying one but there aren’t enough reviews on it.

btw this GK61 (or dyeria I guess its the same) and Blitzwolf kb1, you noticed any difference ? I mean, the optical x commom mechanic makes difference in typing, gaming or in SOUND? (I really hate keyboard sound, so being more silent or at least more "bassy" would make difference for me)
Really in doubt if I go with this one because of the optical tech and being hot swappable or go for the Blitzwolf. And I'm buying today or tomorrow max, so an opinion would help a lot!
which is best for gaming gk61 or draconic??
I am using gk61 and HyperX Alloy Origin TKL.. there's a bit of better experience for me on using gk61 in gaming the response, my reflexes, and adapting the timing to press those keys are way more better thank HyperX Alloy Origin TKL but the designs and toughness of HyperX was so reliable. Also the polling rate of gk61(optical) was only 150hz. But in the end I strongly recommend the gk61 base on my test and experience.. Maybe if someone would try this keyboard they will notice the differences.
