I added foam to the hk gk61 with optical silvers still pingy also when i added foam 1/16th inch thick it pushed the type c port slightly back anyway to get the usb c port back in the original placement so my cables donât feel loose and fall out easier?
So I have the Clix keyboard with speed silvers. should I get gat yellows in stead and mod the keyboard?

You can also double click FN so you dont have to hold it down while pressing the other keys:)

So I have an issue I just got a gk61 yesterday brand new and after I plug it in it wonât type at all, Iâm fact itâs as if itâs stuck him function mode, because whenever I try to type it uses the keys functions but Iâm not holding fn and didnât double click fn so I need help

I have gk61 for over a year. I can say it didnt break but stabelizers are kinda wobbely. I ve settled with gateron optical silver switches and im pretty satisfied so far.

I have them and yes. With the amazing lights of the gk61 it really makes the sides very bright and look a lot better than stock

Honestly thatâs a very good price! For the money, canât beat it
Honestly, I wouldn't bother. Opticals have very low upgradablilty, and just save your cash for a decent custom. The only reason I currently use the gk61 is because I got it for $15, but I'd say the only viable switch on it are optical blacks, everything else is too light, in my opinion (don't bother with optical yellows and silvers, they are inhumanely light). I ended up lubing, filming and spring swapping the switches and had to replace the stabs with durock plate mounts. The board ended up being around $50 with some nice pbt keycaps, but for anything more, I would pass it up.
Can you convert the lower right side to have designated arrow keys? Shift, ctrl, windows, alt. If it can I may make a purchase real soon!

Theyâre all pretty much the same but the main difference is you have to look at your listings to see if itâs optical or mechanical

Optical switch use light to operate.
Mechanical switch as the name suggests is mechanical. It use spring to operate.

@@gfoghste if you get the 60% tofu you wonât have any issues with key cap sets! But the 65% youâll have to probably get an add on kit with the set for the smaller shift key

the case and pcb are widely avalilable, so different companies can take one, make their own software, mod the board, provide switches and keycaps etc
