Prismatic Star 🌟 A Star Combed Wrecked Ring Pour using New Arteza Metallics! Mesmerizing!!

Hello Friends!
I just got a box of beautiful Arteza Premium Acrylic paints in gorgeous Metallics and I can't wait to play with them! I saw Sarah Mack using the Aztec Gold and it was so beautiful!
My Colors are:
Arteza
- Pearl White
- Aztec Gold
- Pearl Marmalade
Artist's Loft
- Metallic Cobalt Blue
- Flow Acrylic Black
Pouring Medium
Liquitex
- Gloss Medium & Varnish
Paint + a bit of Water
Floetrol
I layer my cup carefully down the side and only fill it to the 15 ounce mark. I pour the ring pour, then go around it with some of the amazingly beautiful Pearl Marmalade copper color, then I put down a layer of black around that. Finally I use the thinned out drips (I scrape my table into a cup to use for this) as the last layer, the Flow Extender.
I have been watching Cathleen Ozmore do her amazing swipes lately, and thought about swiping the edge of the ring pour. (This is why I put down the last layer of the coppery color). I swipe it but its not showing up very well, possibly not enough of the copper or just too much black where I swiped).
I use my small Pozilon men's comb and comb thru a few areas, oh my goodness the lines are so pretty! Im really loving how this piece is coming together! The metallics are very metallic and almost holographic or prismatic in appearance, its really beautiful! Nice job on the bling Arteza! I love it!

You know everyone kept saying to me... as I asked Arteza or Amsterdam - and they said...Amsterdam. But I'm really wishing I'd have got those Arteza... every time I see someone use them... it's dynamic and vivid. It's almost like they hold their own like no other. They don't seem to bleed into quite like other brands. It's interesting...Arteza is the underdog, I think. Should have went with my gut... super awesome piece, thank you!! Smiles and blessings...

Hi Mina! This made me...well, I think I drooled all over my phone. Here's another thing I love; when you pour your layers in that cup, i have a strange compulsion to take a drink. The colors layer so beautifully. It's just yum. I just used the Artists Loft Metallic Cobalt. It was in my first really good ring pour/comb wreck. Grand results. ❤🤗😊💥

I wanted you to know... I've a 25 yr old son who has cerebral palsy. He's been doing some pours with me but sadly it's limited him physically to what he can do. I push him, encouraging him to always push himself. I showed him a couple of your videos that are my favorites and watching you inspired him and showed him there are techniques he hasn't tried that he believes he can do. Also, as a fellow metallic cobalt blue lover I have to tell you. My son came up with the idea to add a bit of metallic black to the blue. We've now two shades of metallic cobalt blue that we use regularly and both are gorgeous!
