    Just imagine the world with no music and no art. That's how valuable all artists are. Thank you for sharing this interview.

    I love watching this interview. It is set up in a relaxing way. No grating loud music, soothing visual backgrounds, good lighting and audio. Thank you for this series.

    This interview resonated with me on a profound level - Nicolette's artistry, her narrative, and the motivation it instills in those aspiring to pursue a career in the arts. ❤ I am immensely thankful for my decision to enroll in the mastery program in January 2024, and for the incredible support from Ellie, Dimitri and the Milan family. Finding my creative voice has brought me immense satisfaction, and I am excited for the journey ahead as a professional artist. My only wish through this would have been to go through it earlier in life. 😊

    Art reflects Life and Life reflects Art, Art draws out the very truth of our souls. That piece of art was beautiful and resonates out there. I’m so happy this painting was seen by so many

    It's so interesting when you mention the first painting that Dimitria sold was 50$ and a bird and who buyed it was Diana. Same for me and was a bird and the name of the person who buy it was Diana

    Great to see this, as a dutch woman, what is following the milan famillie but still not there for the masterclass

  • @Nadeline1
    @Nadeline1 Před 2 měsíci +1

    Actually Elly, the Dutch culture is not elitist at all. We proud ourselves in being super down to earth (I do realize the contradiction in terminus). Which comes down to hating it when a Dutch person brags about accomplishments and drops names, even the famous top of their game ones. However, when someone from the USA does that we don't mind as much, we shrug it off as "oh it's just part of their culture". That's why it's easier for a Dutch person to break through in another country. And breakthrough here as a US citizen will be easier than it is for the Dutch themselves.

    Not to deminish your course but it would be nice to bring special attention to perspective - specifically how to draw out still life subjects (like vases in your guest's case). Upon checking out the collection, which is nice, I could not help but notice that horisontals and cylinders of the forms are not thought through .

    • @SusanKristina
      @SusanKristina Před 2 měsíci +1

      Where did you look be ause edge whole first part of the course is on perspective in the Mastery Program in drawing and in art. You may want to look further as this begins with drawing perspective and scaling to draw and paint anything. It is not just in the beginning it also is reiterated throughout program.

    • @lyudmilafeshchukova7312
      @lyudmilafeshchukova7312 Před 2 měsíci

      @@SusanKristina I looked at the paintings of Nicolette and that it what I am referring to. If she is a typical graduate of the program and it was taken online, it means that eather the perspective was not stressed enough throught the course (and you say it is) or, which is more likely with online courses, the mentors did not give enought critique to point out what needs to get special attention in finished paintings. Or through the process of painting, which would make sence more. Usual practice in eye to eye classes.

    This is an odd question...How many males have taken the Mastery Program and become successful full time artists? If it's hard for females to leave the security of full time jobs, it must be even harder for males...because of societal ideas of men are the providers...especially if they have a family to support.
