Humble and true martial artist, Jiri doesn't come to play, he walked down Dom hands down, and put on a clinic of aggression with beautiful angles. He is a wildman, dangerous style at this level but most entertaining fight I've seen in awhile

yea any native English speaker should be able to tell he's learning. he's doing well, its a difficult and sometimes confusing language. i appreciate the effort, this guy is an amazing fighter

That is exactly what led to Reyes' downfall against Jan on Fight Island. After losing the Jones fight, Reyes became so obsessed with how that fight ended that during the entire build-up to his fight with Jan for the vacant LHW Title it was reported by several sports reporters & insiders that all Reyes would ever talk about was the Jones fight and was clearly looking past Jan plus you had countless fans dubbing Reyes the uncrowned LHW king and saying that the fight with Jan was nothing more than a mere coronation for Reyes and he very clearly bought into his very own hype. Reyes refused to take Jan seriously & couldn't move on from the Jones fight and that kind of mentality ultimately cost Reyes big-time.
I feel like the judges for the Jones vs Reyes fight have changed Reyes life forever. He did win that fight and the screwed him over. Unfortunately stuff like that can stay with someone forever

@@acceptancebelieves1908 I think Jan finished Jiri with his legendary polish power. Glover is no joke, tho. If it goes to the ground, I believe Jan is in trouble. Glover is unreal on the ground. If Jiri were to fight Glover, he’d have a better chance of KOing him in the fight but a significantly higher chance of losing his brutal ground and pound.

This wasn't a one-sided affair either. Jiri took some massive shots from Reyes, and he was almost caught in a guillotine. He just has such a weird style and a diamond chin. Jiri vs Jan/glover is going to be an absolute barn burner.

Say what you want about the "athlete", even after he got his nose smashed against Jan he still fought back and didn't back out. Same today. He needs to work on dealing with power punchers but he's a warrior.
He messed up Jiris jaw too. When they were about to announce him as winner Jiri was open and closing and moving it awkwardly. The first thing you notice when you have a broken jaw is your teeth not lining up right.

Jiri’s energy in there was something different. It’s like he was being moved by something powerful and timeless and bigger than himself. There was no fear in him, no hesitation. It was incredible to watch

The man's battle tested, that's why it's not surprising he already has 2 KO's over household names in his first 2 fights in the UFC. I'm not mad they're giving him a title shot next, but I really would prefer he gets more cage time before he gets in there with a vet like Jan.
He made some mistakes tonight, Dom caught him and had him in deep trouble.
The thing is Jiri gets in trouble in almost every fight but that is exactly what fires him up. Jiri has a granite chin and thats why he can afford to fight this crazy way. Fun times ahead🤗

Did more damage to Reyes in the 4th and 5th rounds than Reyes did in the 1st and 2nd rounds. Also, had the slight advantage in the 3rd round. Furthermore, most of the shots that supposedly rocked Jon were actually blocked by him. So go cry more mate. Your boy is on the downhill now. He got cocky and complacent and got destroyed by a guy slower than Jones I. Jan and now by this unknown fella
Jirka fights very carelessly, but he brings the spirit of Perun with him, and just goes all out ... fun to watch.
The key to Jiri's success is his chin man, this guy takes so much punishment its crazy. I think he can definitely beat Jan and be champion, but it is only a matter of time his chin gets cracked and he crumbles, then he'll never be the same he'll get knocked out with a tap. But he's very cool to watch, and he's a humble guy.
That relentless pace for a guy that big is scary..not to mention his insane chin...he finished & did to Reyes what Jon Jones struggled to do in 5 rounds wow

Dude 6'3 which is fairly tall. But has a 80" reach also. He had 3" on Reyes. I'm 45 and been involved as an athlete but also have been a UFC fan since day 1. I can't remember a 205er with that kinda pace

I've been watching Jiri since he first started fighting in Rizin years ago he is such a explosive unorthodox Striker he already has such a high light IQ and he's only 28 years old That's what's so scary about it that he's still learning improving I see him becoming The UFC light heavyweight champion by the end of 2021 or the beginning of 2022 Everyone stay tuned Jiri Is the UFC's next big star, I would love to see him fight Jon Jones I believe that his style would cause big problems for Jon Jones I truly believe that Jiri Would be able to beat Jon Jones.
