The fact so many good players now came from Paris just shows how much effect winning the world cup has on a younger generation.
Emigration is very important factor
Not really, nor is emigration the true reason for the boon. Fact is most emigrants joins their new societies at the lowest socio-economic rank, and what do we know? Football is a game first and foremost enjoyed and played by blue collars. What distinguishes the Paris area from other world region welcoming many immigrants is the population density and the propensity of local governments to subsidies sport and social activities for the young. And that is especially true for blue collar cities. So you have the convergence of two factors big share of the population interested in playing and founding directed for such activities.

Mbappe's brand strategy is called simply being the best player in the world.
This allows him to simply dictate his terms to his club and national team, which can't exist without him, and thus allow him to afford some level of ethics and choice as to what his image can promote or not.
mbappe hasn't been the best player in the world... ever.

Giving 50% of your sponsorship income to Real Madrid in this age of social media is a huge mistake, players do not need Madrid for more fame when they got their own social media to grow their own brand. This could one of the reasons why Haaland and Mbappe rejected Real.
It was reported by the most reliable journos in Spain that Madrid was willing to give up 100% of the image rights. This 50/50 thingy is nonsense.
Haaland did not turn down Madrid, Madrid decided not to pursue him because they assumed that Mbappe would arrive. And they did offer Mbappe a deal that would allow him to keep 100% of his rights
Given his families history, he is very grounded in a total world view. He wants to do good. Not just be an athlete.
He knows his influence
Thats why he is basically the main advertisment for one of the most evil countries in the world lol
do good? how? by becoming the richest athlete the world has seen?
Ok, if we want to break he's the most paid footballers in 2022, right? that's much younger than Messi and CR7 even where Messi is the most paid when he was 31 and CR7 when he was 29. I knew he's great but considering that he's still pretty young blew my mind. Those 2 that are the best of this century maybe even all time and they even need to wait for Beckham's retirement to be in the top while he still a youngster and these 2 still playing and he just don't care. Why he doesn't focus playing in best clubs won trophies for his clubs and himself and then make more money after he touch his prime. Like Messi he need to wait for his prime ended then finally he can be there. And again those 2 are the most popular and influential figures in this century.
â@@dinglshinglemate lots of money doesn't always equal to bad. If you're poor then just say so. There's no shame in it

@Anderson Wang He is right tho. Got a hat-trick against Argentina but was invisible all game. If Ronaldo would have converted the 2 pens, he would be "Penaldo". The bias towards Mbappe is insane, he is very overrated. A trash person. Fair play, if he would try his best every game and be in tip-top form, but he looks so bored nowadays. That's what makes me dislike him. Firstly win a UCL and a Ballon D'or and he should consider being a little bit arrogant and/or confident. I'm not saying he would be bad outside France but Haaland and Vinicius will win the Ballon D'or before him. He wants to be like Ronaldo, but the one at 38 not the one at 24. Used to like him though.
When your father switch jobs for more money then its wonderful but when someone else does it ,everyone talks about passion
Edit - Trust me ones who are saying that fathers do for only livelihood and footballers do for legacy are completely wrong.
Athletes literally have no source of earning after they retire, And your father can work till 60 but footballers Retire at the age of 32
its like exception of zlatan, messi ,ronaldo who are pushing themselves in such late 40s .Everyone arent like them
AND thats why footballers have children at so early ages because they are PHYSICALLY , MENTALLY ,AND MONEY WISE EXHAUSTED AT 30'S ITSELF
It was his dream to play for real madrid and could have been one of the greatest players
I mean i got no problem but he really did chose psg ⊠his mom who is mbappeâs manager aswell chose this decision for her comfort ⊠more money + comfortably living in her own home city
Father with mouths to feed, probably making less than 100k a year, not playing a sport for job is not the same as mbappe already making millions as a young man while playing a sport
There's a difference between choosing money so that your family doesn't starve vs choosing money over building legacy. M bappe would be richer than ever even if he didn't join PSG. But ofc people choose more money over building a successful career.
â@@Ghost_4 don't forget mbappe was actually born and raised in paris. It's basically his 'boyhood' club. I think mbappe has a personal goal of winning the ucl with paris, a club from his country before moving to madrid.

It's not perfect although I applaud Mbappe principles, as to why half is actually good the other half not so much. Sign with Hublot you turn off a large chunk of luxury watch lovers, sign with EA nobody would believe he doesn't want to be involved in gambling (EA is basically a gambling company).

I know right, it's like the greenwashing campaigns companies use to make people think they really care about the environment. Just like Jordan Mbappe will be a billionaire when he retires because he knows the value of his name and likeness

Overrated bottler with huge ego. I hope Madrid won't sign him. I'm a little bit pissed that he didn't sign for us last year but I'm thankful honestly. He wants to be like Ronaldo, to play like him but at 38 not at 24. He sometimes looks so bored and his arrogance will damage the changing room.

Being hardcore Real n Thierry Henry fan, having Mbappe don White shirt is an ultimate dream. He's the closest to resemble Henry as well. Easy to being a fan of Mbappe. But, watching this, there's no way that gonna happen with Flo Perez policy. Yes, he might not win Ballon D'or without UCL title, but maybe that's not even on his agenda. Beckham never win one, yet before Messi n CR7 time he's the most sought after athlete in the world.
Beckham was good looking, that was the only reason even non football fans liked him, he was a Hollywood type of football player
Ong Madrid is NEVER that stupid to chase someone who thinks he runs football, That boy's ego has outgrown, it's true that football has changed over the past years back in the days players used to fantasize joining big clubs and force their agents for negotiations joining the club of his/ her dream but now he only cares about just one thing that is "MONEY and more MONEY!" Not just him, but the current and upcoming generation. đą
I can confirm Mbappe is the closest player I've seen to Henry.
@@parthavnair36 Madridâs policy wonât work in attracting names like mbappe in the current unless they ultimately just want to play for them. Owning 50% of a playerâs image rights with social media readily available is nonsensical from a playerâs(mbappe) perspective.

Mbappe's choice of brands seems very moral and ethical on a shallow level, he claims he won't promote alcohol because it's bad which is fair, but also claims he won't promote junk food because mostly children are affected by it and also won't promote gambling because it's bad, yet one of his main sponsors is EA Games with FIFA, a game that makes almost all of their money by selling basically gambling to children. And this is without even mentioning where the money PSG uses to both pay his salary and increase his image value comes from, something he clearly supports by continuing to stay at PSG even when having great deals in other places too (which as mentioned in the video he refused simply for monetary reasons, not because he is a one man club for PSG or whatever).
