Pandemic or not, tampering with food should be jail time.
I agree, if they did that then I bet a lot less of these entitled little twats would be messing with people's food. This is why I don't go to fast food places, or even eat out for that manner, unless it's the Chinese place I have gone to for years and I know the owner or the sushi place down the road that makes my food in front of me. I can say I have lost a LOT of weight cutting out fast food and eating out in general.

I worked in a fast food restaurant as a teenager. On my last night, I was working the graveyard shift, and someone came to the drive thru with a major attitude. My manager told me it's my last night anyway, and I'm welcome to spit in this customer's food if I want to. I did not.

I worked for a McDonald's for over 8 years. Most of that time as a manager. I've had some very nasty customers, but never once even thought of doing anything to their food. That's just criminal. If I had ever caught an employee doing such a thing, I would have sent them home immediately, until they could be terminated. I'm curious as to where this employee went after being terminated. Most likely to another restaurant position. I know that if another employer called for a reference that the only statement McDonald's would give is that the employee did not give notice and they would not rehire. Not really giving much of a reason for someone else not to hire them. I feel so bad for this poor woman.

This happened to me about three years ago; A disgruntled employee one time at Jack in The box put hair in my taco even though she wasn't doing it to me purposely she apparently was doing it because she was mad at the company and the manager told me that she was about to be fired anyways, but I just never filed a lawsuit. It was the jack in the box in Oklahoma city on Reno and McArthur.

I’ve worked in the service industry for years and had many nasty customers but I had always treated someone’s drink and food like my own because it’s common decency whether they’re assholes or not, how someone can contaminate someone’s food/drink is beyond disgusting. I would never even do this to my worst enemy. It’s not only super malicious but there is seriously something wrong with your character if anyone thinks this is okay no matter how rude someone is.
She needs a lawyer. That’s the most disgusting thing to have happen to a person. There should also be criminal charges of assault brought against the employees.

Where I live I know it as a Bio attack, that's what they say. Health Department, Officials etc. It gets treated as a Bio Attack, gets taken care of like that. So more than just court. Before the Pandemic was stated and in the news when someone was spat on in my city. It would be on the tv then gone. Depends on the State. In a few places in the US I learned before the pandemic spitting was not even a crime. I learned this from my friends friends who were in different states. Before the Pandemic it was rarely prosecuted in some places in the US.

I immediately called him out on it and one of the employees got the manager. His manager apologized to me and took him into the back where I can only assume he got yelled at. Got new food as well made by the manager herself.
At a taco bell in Sacramento, a manager got caught shitting in the taco meat and in the refried beans. Many people had gotten sick and he had been doing it for a while.
