    The owner has absolutely nothing to apologize for. He doesn’t promote obesity, and he doesn’t force people to come. His is simply saying “You can eat at my restaurant but keep in mind, you are doing this to yourself.”

      You wouldn’t care if you weighed high enough. Not all people have the same capacity about their diet choices. Not everyone had the same opportunities to educate themselves about nutrition and eating right. Age alone doesn’t make an adult capable of making the right decisions. There’s a lot that goes into how people become obese. Just because people are liable to face consequences for their actions doesn’t mean you accelerate those consequences. That doesn’t help anybody. You can’t just exploit gullible people because not everyone who is gullible deserves to be exploited.
      This is literally unethical. Zero argument for this shitty restaurant.

      The owner is a very VERY smart rather sadistic murderer. He has found away to channel his inner darkness and murderous intent,in a way that kills or maims just enough people that he can be satiated. He gets away with it because of the thought process that drives your comment. It's called Plausible deniability. It goes like this.
      "Iv'e never killed anyone officer. i'm just the owner of a legit business establishment.. I didn't give the addict the drug forcefully.       I looked it up. He was a nutritionist and a chef. In his early years he worked for the weight-loss chain Jenny Craig.
      But he used to have a hard time getting clients and the clients that he did manage to get never followed his advice.
      One day he got fed up and said to himself "If they want to eat unhealthy, I'll give them unhealthy." A year later he opened his first Heart Attack Grill.
      How's that for an origin story?

      I see why people say that this is wrong, but the thing is those people don't need encouragement to eat like that, they would have eaten that much somewhere else, the doctor guy is simply taking advantage of the path the customers were already on and is using it to try and prevent more obesity. I know I typed this super weird but he is using the shock of the restaurant's existence as a deterent for people who might be teetering on the edge (morbid) obesity and possibly shock people who are already there, out of it.       - absolutely correct. If somebody kills themselves by shooting themselves in the head we don't consider the gun shop owner to be responsible for the death. If someone commits suicide by intentionally overdosing on pills we don't blame the drug company. If somebody knowingly and willingly does something which they know might lead to their death that is entirely their choice and their responsibility.

    I like the owner and he's right, he has no obligation to clarify people of dangers of fast-food. School and parents should do that. If they fail, it's not his concern.

      The cigarette industry does exactly that. It is up to the consumer to make the choice. I bet you no farther than a mile away from this place, there is something much healthier. The producer of such goods is not to blame, for it is the consumer that makes the choice whether or not to consume.
